Chapter 16 : 7th Ceiling Board

Angela parked the car a few meters away from Leonardo's studio. "We're here."

"Is the gardener around?" Leonardo asked.

"I didn't see him."

"Good. Look for the key in my studio on the left side of the floor, under a flower pot. The rose pot held the studio's spare key. "

Angela got out of the car and followed Leonardo's instructions. There were several flower pots lining the floor, but the fifth pot was a rose, and underneath it was the key. She went to the door and opened it.

"The door is open," Angela said as she returned to the car, but Leonardo had already gotten out and slammed the door.

Angela felt better watching her patient move casually while attempting to appear normal. She dashed to his side. "Would you like me to help you to the door?"

"I believe you should." Leonardo hushed. "Remember, I'm blind."
