LOGIN"Pretty lady, come here for a moment ..." a man called out to Mitha, a girl from Bandung who worked at a pub in Jakarta.
"Me? Do you mean me, Sir?" Mitha asked, frightened. Tonight was her first night working at the pub, filling in for her friend who was sick. Mitha had no choice but to take the job, as her father’s small business had gone bankrupt a few weeks ago. Mitha, who was studying at a university in Jakarta, needed money to survive. She had just finished her studies but had not yet attended her graduation ceremony. Her diploma had not been issued by her campus, which made it a little harder for her to find a job. "Yes, you! Hurry, come here!" Mitha grew more anxious, because she knew there were several other women nearby. "What’s your name?" the man who called her asked. "My name is Mitha," she replied nervously, lowering her head. "Mitha, go meet that guest. I’ll pay you more!" the man said. But Mitha seemed unwilling. "Mitha, just meet him. It’s only to keep him company while he drinks. I’ve done it before, even last week," said Niken, one of Mitha’s friends that night. "But Niken, I’m scared," she whispered. "Relax, it’s fine," Niken assured her. "Yes, Mitha. It’s all safe," another one of them added. With encouragement from some of her friends, Mitha finally gathered the courage to approach the man. "That’s better," the man said, smiling at her. "Have a seat." The man then gestured for Mitha to sit and poured soda into her glass. "Drink," the man told her. "I don’t drink alcohol, Sir," Mitha replied. "This isn’t wine. It’s just soda." The man then drank from his own glass in front of Mitha to make her believe him. "See? I’m not drunk, am I?" he said with a sly smile at Mitha. "Yes, Sir." Then the man quickly poured another glass of soda for Mitha. But one thing Mitha didn’t know, this new soda had been mixed with an aphrodisiac. Meanwhile, behind the pub, Niken was receiving several thick bills of rupiah from a man. "Is it true that your friend is still a virgin?" the man asked sharply, staring at Niken as she reached out her hand to accept the money. "Of course, Sir. I guarantee one hundred percent that Mitha is still pure," she said firmly. It turned out Niken was the one who arranged for Mitha to replace her “sick” friend for this part-time job at the pub. "Alright, I believe you," the man said before walking away from Niken. "I’m sorry, Mitha. I had to do this," she murmured in her heart. Erlan Levin was also at the pub that night. At the moment, he was with his clients celebrating one of his colleague’s birthdays. "Welcome, Mr. Erlan. I thought you wouldn’t want to come to a place like this," one of his business associates said. "Of course I would come. This is to celebrate your birthday. But for anything else, I certainly wouldn’t," he replied sharply. Erlan knew very well what kind of place he had come to. He always remembered his mother’s advice not to harm women or do anything that could take advantage of them. In truth, Erlan was still single and not involved with any woman at the moment. The birthday celebration began with cutting the cake and blowing out the candles, and of course, several kinds of alcoholic drinks lined the table. Several sexy dancers in revealing outfits began performing their moves. Erlan stared blankly at them, clearly showing his disapproval. "How cheap!" he muttered in his heart. Meanwhile, his clients were already aroused by the erotic movements of the dancers. His friends started glancing at Erlan, noticing how unaffected he looked. "Hey, bro. Look at that, Mr. Erlan isn’t even slightly influenced by those dancers," one of them said. "Right, you’re absolutely right!" another responded. Then one of them spoke up, "I know how to make Mr. Erlan finally give up his bachelorhood." His business associates knew Erlan was a clean man, he had never been intimate with any woman. Some of them harbored ill intentions to tarnish Erlan’s reputation. "Bro, have a drink. It’s just soda," one of them said. Without suspicion, Erlan took the glass handed to him by one of his associates and drank it. A few minutes after finishing the soda, Erlan felt a heat rising from inside his body. His eyes began to redden. "What did you put in my drink?" he snapped angrily. "We didn’t put anything in it, bro!" his friend replied, pretending to be innocent. But sly smiles began to spread across their faces. "Enjoy a long night with the ladies, Bro! Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Laughter, both triumphant and mocking, erupted from some of his clients. "You bastards!" he shouted in anger. "Bro, we did this for your own good, so you can feel the pleasures of heaven on earth. Otherwise, your weapon might stop working one day! Ha-ha-ha-ha!" their laughter rang out again. "Shameless!" Erlan yelled, then walked away from the crowd in the pub. "Looks like I won’t make it home quickly. I’ll have to stay here tonight," he thought. Still fighting to keep his mind clear, he went to the reception desk and booked a room for the night. Erlan planned to spend the night at the pub by reserving one of the most luxurious rooms. He wanted to soak in the hot bathtub all night. He then took the elevator to the upper floor where his room was located. Erlan’s steps began to stagger, the drug was starting to take effect, but with all his strength, he fought to stay conscious. As he was about to insert the key card to enter his room, he faintly heard a woman’s desperate cry for help. "Help ... help! Somebody, please help me!" a woman’s voice pleaded. "Hey, shut up! Don’t make us use violence on you!" a man’s voice barked. It turned out the woman was Mitha, she had been placed in one of the rooms in the pub. "What are you going to do to me, Sir? I’m new here. Tonight is my first night working in this place," she sobbed, terrified. "Shut up! You’ve already been sold to our boss. So keep your mouth shut, unless you want us to taste you first!" one of the men growled sharply. "No! Don’t touch me!" Mitha cried, sobbing. And then, she began to feel a heat rising from deep inside her body. "Hot! What’s happening to me? Why do I feel like this?" she thought in panic. P. S. Bandung is the name of one of the cities in Indonesia.Day after day passed, and Erlan remained in the village with his wife, Mitha. Since his arrival, Erlan had been working hard to get forgiveness from Mitha for all his past mistakes.Every morning, Erlan always woke up early and helped his in-laws with various jobs in the village, trying to show his sincerity to change. That morning, while having breakfast together at the simple dining table, Daddy Riski opened a conversation about Erlan's business in Jakarta. "Erlan, how is your company in Jakarta? Who is taking care of it now?"Erlan smiled thinly, sipping the black coffee served by Mom Luna. "My company is now managed by my three cousins, Dad. Arjuna, Vito, and Bara. They are all very competent and have been working with me for a long time. So, I can focus more here for a while."Daddy Riski nodded in understanding. "Good then. You must be able to be calmer here. But remember, even though you are here, keep monitoring the progress of your company. Don't let any major problems be mis
After the tense conversation in the living room, Mom Luna felt that Erlan and Mitha needed time together to try to repair their relationship. With a soft but firm voice, the mother said, "Mitha, bring Erlan's suitcase into your room. Ask him to take a nap, your husband must be tired after a long journey."Mitha looked at her mother for a moment, there was doubt in her eyes. However, she knew that refusing her mother's request was not an option. Mitha sighed and nodded. "Okay, Mom." Then she moved towards Erlan's suitcase which was lying in the corner of the room.Mitha picked up the suitcase and walked towards her room. Erlan followed her with slow steps, awkwardness clearly visible on his face. They were both silent, only the creaking of their footsteps echoed on the floor of Grandma Remi's house.Arriving in her room, Mitha placed Erlan's suitcase next to the small wardrobe. The room was simple, with walls decorated with some family photos and a large window overlooking the tea pla
That morning, the warm sunlight enveloped the bright blue sky, while Erlan drove his car on the winding road towards a small village in the West Java area. He glanced at his watch which showed eight in the morning, while his car meandered among the green trees and tea plantations that stretched along the road.Throughout the journey, his heart was pounding uncontrollably. Anxiety and fear mixed in his mind. It had been a long time since he last saw Mitha, his wife. Would Mitha accept him back, that question had haunted him from earlier.Arriving at the village, Erlan parked his car near a small market that was bustling with morning activity. He got out of the car, took a deep breath, and decided to ask a mother who was carrying a shopping basket."Excuse me, Ma'am. Do you know where Grandma Remi's house is?" he asked politely. The woman looked at him for a moment, then smiled. "Oh, Grandma Remi? Of course. Her house is at the end of this road, with green paint on the walls. You must b
Mitha smiled widely as the car driven by Daddy Riski began to enter the winding road that ascended towards the village. The kind, Opa Robi, lent one of his cars to be used by Sir Riski's family. The green scenery that stretched around Mitha made her heart feel light. It had been a long time since the woman had felt air as cool and fresh as this. Next to her sat her mother, Mom Luna, who also looked cheerful. The three of them would finally spend time together at Grandma Remi's house in a village that was still located in the West Java area."Mom, look! That's a tea plantation!" Mitha exclaimed enthusiastically as they passed rows of neat tea plants."Yes, Mitha. It's very beautiful, isn't it?" Mommy Luna replied with a smile. "Later we can take a walk there."Not long after that, the car stopped in front of Grandma Remi's house, a simple but warm wooden house. Grandma Remi was already standing in front of the door, waving her hand enthusiastically. "Welcome! Mitha, you're getting mo
Some time ago,As Grandpa Robi's luxurious car sped along the winding road towards Lembang, Bandung, Mitha's heart fluttered. The Levin Family's private villa, her in-laws, which would be her temporary refuge, seemed to be getting closer. With a backdrop of green hills and cool air, the villa seemed to welcome her with the silence and tranquility she desperately needed.Grandpa Robi turned back, seeing Mitha sitting in the back seat with a blank stare. Grandma Rini beside him held her hand gently, providing support without words. They knew how heavy the burden Mitha was carrying right now."The villa is almost there. Be patient," said Grandpa Robi, his voice full of affection.Mitha nodded softly, trying to smile even though her heart was still hurting. The Levin Family villa, a place reserved for family vacation moments, had now become her refuge from the outside world. From her husband, Erlan, and the bitter memories she had just experienced.Arriving at the villa, they were greeted
That afternoon, after coming home from the office, Erlan felt nervous and hopeful. He still remembered his cousin Arjuna's advice, which asked him to approach Mitha with an open heart.Their last argument had widened the distance between them, especially after Mitha had a miscarriage. Erlan knew he had to fix their relationship, and this afternoon the man was determined to do so.Erlan drove his car towards his parents' house, the Levin Residence, where Mitha had been staying since they decided to sleep separately. On the passenger seat, a bouquet of red roses lay neatly, ready to be given to his wife as a sign of apology and his great love for Mitha. As his car glided down the road, Erlan felt his heart mixed with hope and fear."What am I going to say to Mitha? Will she accept me back?"Arriving at the house, Erlan parked his car and stepped out carrying the flowers in his hand. The house looked quiet, far from the usual hustle and bustle that occurred when his parents were home. Er
