Chapter 5.

Nova Sinclair.

I still can’t believe I had fucked a stranger!

Waking up on that bed, beside that hot stranger, was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life, but I did not wait to face the shame that came with it.

I just scrambled for my stuff and ran out of the room before he woke up, and right now I could still feel the movement of him between my thighs.

I had not intended to fuck him, but I did, and now I don’t know if what I felt was pain, guilt, or a kind of desire that I didn’t want to admit.

I don’t know how everything happened. The last I remember was walking into his room, being kissed by him, and nothing else.

I thought I had pulled away. I really thought I had, but I hadn’t, and even though I was drugged, I could still remember a few things, like the way I moaned senseless to him and the way my body submitted and responded to his every touch.

I am at Lina’s house now, and I still can’t get over everything.

“She did that to you?” Lina asked with wide eyes as she struggled to comprehend my words. I had told her about everything that happened with Evelyn and me. About how she had drugged me and dumped me in a room for one pervert and how I had saved myself, but I couldn’t bring myself to inform her about the stranger and how I had sex with a man that I didn’t know.

“I am so sorry,” Lina whispered pathetically, stretching a glass of water to me.

I took the glass from her, nodding my head gently. “Trust me, I never knew she was that kind of person. She has always been nice to me. She has never come off as that kind of person. I am so sorry,” she said, rubbing her hand on my back.

“Trust me! I am going to quit working with them! I am never going to go back!”

My brows pulled together and I shook my head negatively. “No. No, Lina. Don’t do that for me. You need money.”

Her hands met mine, and she dropped to the couch next to me. “No, Nova. Everything that happened was because of me. I had trusted her enough to leave you with her. Didn’t think she would be that terrible.”

“Lina…” I called, but she cut me off by grabbing her system from the nearby table. “So I was thinking…” she opened the laptop and turned it on immediately. “I was thinking about helping you apply for jobs in top companies. What do you think?”

My lips pressed into a thin line, and I stared at her, knowing that she was doing all of this to divert my attention.

I made to say a word, but before I could, my phone buzzed and I took it from where Lina had helped me keep it.

When I checked the phone, my heart tightened at the caller, and I stilled, reminding myself that he cheated and I had nothing to feel guilty about.

My grip on the phone tightened, and a part of me just wanted to end the call, but I picked up and placed the phone to my ear.

“Hello.” His grumpy voice came in, and I didn’t know why my heart skipped.

“Hello,” I replied gently.

“You didn’t return home. Sleeping around now, huh?”

My grip on the phone tightened, and I gritted my teeth within my mouth, thinking of what reply to give him.

“I was with Lina,” I replied, not interested in wherever the conversation was leading to.

Silence settled in for a brief second, then he said,

“I don’t care what you do with your life. A welcome party is being held at the family villa today. We are celebrating the arrival of someone special, and Grandma needs us to be in attendance, so dress into something nice and put on a big smile like nothing is happening between us. Understood?”

My eyes rolled at how commanding he sounded, but I had no choice. I was doing this for Grandma, not for his lying, cheating ass.

The call ended, and now I was back to staring at Lina, who had been going through a list of companies to pick.

We ended up scrolling past a bunch of companies without picking any, but she took all my details and promised to help me write a letter when she found one.

When I left her house, I stopped by the hospital to see Daniel before heading back home, and now I was just standing by the mirror, dressed in a spaghetti midnight dress that hugged my curves gently and flowed down my legs like a river.

My hair was packed into a neat bun while two strands fell over my shoulders, framing my delicate face.

Now… I looked more like the actual lady of the Blackthorn family.

I was still staring and admiring myself in the mirror when a knock suddenly came on the door.

I didn’t need anyone to inform me. I already knew it was Aaron.

“Aren’t you done?” His angry-filled voice came in, but I didn’t bother sparing myself another glance in the mirror before grabbing my silver bag from the vanity and walking out.

“Where were you last night?” Aaron asked, his eyes blazing hot.

“You suggested an open marriage… why are you fretting?”

“Don’t test me!” He groaned, grabbing my arms roughly, sinking his nails into my skin while pulling me closer to himself.

The pain from his nails stung deeper, and I spared my arms a glance. “The last thing you want is to get interrogated by Grandma…”

“Don’t you dare!” He gritted.

“Or what?” I cut him off, and he stared at me dead in the eyes for a moment longer before letting go of my arms, groaning out in pure anger.

The ride to the villa was long, and while I watched the city that moved in a blur, Aaron sat behind me, sweet-talking one of his concubines over the phone.

Amidst all of this, I didn’t feel jealous. I just felt a tiny throb, and it wasn’t from my heart. It was from my pussy.

I could still feel the weight of the man between my thighs, the way his fingers had rolled into my pussy and the way he had actually fucked me.

I want to get him out of my head, but I can’t, and that’s all thanks to the naughty and persistent him for invading my dreams.

We arrived at the villa, and the beauty still remained.

The compound was still vast, with a fountain that poured into the swimming pool that stretched endlessly and shimmered beneath the glow of the evening sky.

Aaron and I walked in, arms intertwined, while we wore the brightest yet fakest of smiles.

People thought we were perfect. Everyone… the families, his mother, Grandma, and Grandpa… they all thought we were perfect. But open marriage never existed where perfection lived, yeah?

“Nova…” Grandma called in excitement the moment she saw me, and the smile on my face stretched drastically into something more beautiful.

“Good evening, Grandma.” I leaned in, hugging her gently.

“You look beautiful,” she whispered after the hug, pulling my cheeks gently.

My smile stretched. “Thank you, Grandma.”

“Good evening, Grandma,” Aaron greeted, and Grandma waved her hand, still wearing her smile.

It was one thing with Grandma… obsessing over one and throwing the other away, unlike my mother-in-law, who often saw me as the problem.

“You are here.” The sharp sound of heels against the floor filled the air, followed by a voice I have never liked to hear.

Speak of the devil. “Good evening, ma,” I greeted her gently with my head bowed, and she nodded, staring at me disdainfully before moving over to her son.

“Come…” Grandma said, dragging me by the wrist. “I have a gift for you.”

My heart fluttered, and I followed without hesitation. Gifts from Grandma are often the best. She had gifted me more jewelry than I could count, and I made sure to always cherish them.

Grandma and I were done viewing the gold she kept for me, and I was back in the dining room where the chairs and table were being set up when Aaron suddenly walked closer.

“My uncle is here already,” he said, and my brows pulled together slightly.

“Uncle?” I asked in a whisper, confused and in need of clarity.

“It’s the reason for the welcome dinner, dummy. Could you have some sense?”

My throat locked, and a lump formed in my throat, but I swallowed gently.

“My uncle is a no-nonsense man. He is having a conversation now with Grandpa, and when he is done, we will go greet him, so put on your best behaviour. Understood?”

I didn’t say a word. I didn’t always have to. My silence should, and has always been, an answer.

My eyes moved around the room, and I found Grandpa and the man whose back was facing us.

For a second, I stilled at the sight, my brows pulling together.

6’4 feet of lean yet broad shoulders. He was so tall and huge, and trust me, I didn’t think his back view would be this hot.

Zayden Black of the Blackthorn is rumored to be the hottest and most ruthless of the Blackthorn family. I have never seen him in all two years of my marriage with Aaron, and that’s because he was rumored to have left the country after an accident some days to my wedding.

I do not know what he looked like, but the person I am seeing now looked young… way younger than the typical uncle anyone would have.

I stood still, curious about what he would look like, until Aaron nudged at me.

“Let’s go,” he said, heading in the direction of his uncle while I followed.

The scent of his perfume gripped my nostrils as we drew closer to him, and I felt my stomach churn with unease. Fuck! He smelt of wood and wealth.

We got behind him and stood still for him to be done, and when he was finally done, he turned gently to face us.

“Welcome back, Uncle,” Aaron greeted him with a smile, but the smile on my own face had dropped.

6’4 feet of reckless power, lean yet broad shoulders that sat within his perfectly tailored suit, straight nose, almond-sanpaku eyes, sharp jaw, heart-shaped lips, and hair that looked both tousled and messy, like a hand had been running through it.

My breath hitched, and so did my body.

“…Uncle… this is my wife.” Those were the only things I heard as the image of last night filled my eyes… rough lips, messy body, huge cock, dripping pussy.

No. No. This can’t be happening. My legs wobbled, body shaking as I stood still, praying for the ground to open and swallow me because the man who had fucked my pussy, ruined my cunt in the best possible way, and made me moan as I had never done before cannot be my husband’s most ruthless yet youngest uncle.

  • Yes, Uncle; Ruin Me.   Her Crazy Thoughts.

Chapter 134.Nova walked to the front of her house now, her feet dragging slightly from the entire exhaustion of the night. The heavy drama at the party and the suffocating tension at the after-party had drained every bit of energy she had left. The moment she got to the door, it swung open before she could even reach for her keys.“Welcome back,” Lena said, a warm, relieved smile on her face. She immediately reached down and handed Nova a pair of fluffy house shoes.Nova felt a wave of comfort wash over her at the sight of her best friend. She smiled and took the shoes from her, kicking off her painful heels. “Thank you, Lena.”When they stepped into the warm living room, Lena shut the door and locked it securely. She turned around, her eyes sparkling with intense curiosity. “Tell me about your day, Nova! Tell me Aaron got exactly what he wanted and fell right into his own trap!”Nova smiled now, a genuine, soft expression on her face, and turned to look at her best friend. “How do y

Chapter 133. When Nova turned to stare at Linda, her heart was racing like a wild engine against her ribs. For a terrifying second, she felt completely exposed, like all her deepest secrets had been dragged into the harsh light. But she knew Linda. Or, at least, she thought she did. She forced her body to remain still, blinked gently to clear her mind, and tried to look completely blank.“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Nova said, keeping her voice as steady as possible. She turned around immediately, making a move to walk away and escape the suffocating corner. But before she could even take a single step, Linda reached out and grabbed her arm, stopping her in her tracks.“Don’t try to deny it, Nova,” Linda said, her voice low but incredibly sharp. “I saw you walking to the restroom to go meet him earlier on. I’m not blind.”Nova shot Linda a sharp glance, her heart racing even faster in her chest now. She felt the blood drain from her face. She was trapped, and there was

Chapter 131.As Nova stepped out of the car, the cold air of the evening brushed her skin, and a deep sense of fulfillment rushed into her chest. Gently, she began to walk toward the entrance of the venue, her flowery dress flowing elegantly with every single step she took. When she got into the beautiful hall, she found a massive circular table that could sit over thirty people, and it was already almost full. She took in a sharp breath, her heart giving a small flutter. She knew that she was no longer a stranger here. Unlike before, her life wasn’t concealed anymore. Everyone in this room definitely already knew what had happened at the main party. They knew she was married, and they knew her husband had been a complete douchebag who tried to ruin her but ended up ruining himself. She felt open and vulnerable, knowing that they all knew her dirty laundry, but regardless of the fear, she held her head high. She pushed her shoulders up, raised her chin, and began to walk across the

Chapter 131. Soon, Mrs. Evelyne stepped forward with some guards anger burning her from within. She was frantic, her face pale as she struggled to lead Aaron out of the angry group of people. But the crowd didn’t stop. They turned their eyes on her too. “Such a terrible mother!” they yelled. “Supporting her son’s mischief! You probably knew all along! You must have been a wicked mother-in-law!” “Did you try to stop your son when he was cheating? Did you?” The guards finally managed to lead Aaron away, dragging him through the doors while the insults followed him out. While they were doing that, Nadia clutched her husband’s arm, foaming in pure rage. She had been so excited. She had really thought that Aaron would catch Nova, that her sister would finally be shamed and disgraced in front of everyone. But seeing Aaron dragged out while Nova stood there looking like a goddess was more than she could take. Nadia marched forward, stopping right beside Nova. “How does it feel to be

Chapter 130.The crowd gasped the moment the pictures scattered through the air and went crashing to the floor. For a few seconds, the only sound in the hall was the rustle of paper hitting the polished ground.“Oh my goodness! Did Ms. Nova really cheat on her husband?” a woman whispered, her voice full of fake pity. “What a shameful thing. To have all this beauty and still be a traitor.”“I knew she was too good to be true,” a man added, shaking his head as he watched the photos drop.Aaron stood up there on the stage, his lips stretching into a wide, victorious smile. He felt a rush of power that made his blood sing. He watched Nova closely, waiting for the moment her knees would buckle. He watched as she staggered backward, her face pale, and he felt a sick sense of satisfaction. He watched as the people nearby reached down to pick up the photos, eager to see the evidence of her sin.But all of a sudden, the air in the hall changed. It wasn’t the sound of mocking laughter that foll

Chapter 129.Aaron moved, his steps sharp and purposeful but before he could even get any closer to her, Zaydeen signaled the spokesman with a sharp nod.The spokesman walked back to the stage, tapping the mic. “Everyone! Your attention, please!”The noise in the hall died down instantly. Every eye went back to the stage.“As we all know, this is a business lunch,” the spokesman said. “Any company here with intentions to advertise their brand can send a representative here to give a speech for them.”People began to rush toward the stage. Representative after representative got up and gave short, boring speeches about their companies and their goals. While they were at it, Aaron was smiling in his mind. For the first time since he had arrived at the party, he actually had a reason to smile. This was the moment he had been waiting for. This was his trap. The people on stage finished talking, and the room went quiet, waiting for the next person. Aaron felt more excited than anything. He
