LOGINThird POV
Derek kissed her neck slowly. He moved his lips to her jaw as he tightened his hand around her waist, pressing their bodies together.
Rachael had many questions running wild in her head. Like, why was there a man in her room? Why was he kissing her? Did Mrs. Valeria set her up with a man to punish her?
No! She can't watch this man take advantage of her, but what if Mrs. Valeria grew angrier than before? They might just finally end her miserable life.
"Wait," she said, trying to push him off her. Derek pulled back, surprised by the sweet voice he just heard.
He had to admit that the voice made him needy for more, and in no time he started kissing her again. He kissed her jaw and stopped when their lips were just a breath away.
Derek knew just by looking at her and kissing her skin that she wasn't the girl he was looking for, and he couldn't care anymore since this girl made him addicted to her scent. Her voice also made him imagine her beneath him in the bed behind her.
Rachael saw this as an opportunity to ask him to stop and go away. "Look, I don't know how much you paid, but-"
She was still speaking when he cut off by slamming his lips on hers. She pushed on his chest, but Derek drew her closer and bit her lips. He walked forward while she stepped backwards until the back of her legs hit the bed, and she fell softly on the soft bed with Derek on top of her.
Their lips were still locked, and he pressed their bodies together, pulling her closer with the hand still wrapped around her waist. His other hand caressed the exposed skin of her waist gently. Rachael was already tired of pushing him. He was no different from a hard rock that refused to budge. He bit her bottom lip, and she opened her mouth to shriek, but he took the opportunity to expertly slide his tongue into her mouth.
She was so addictive. After a while, he pulled back for her to breathe.
Taking short breaths, she inquired directly. "What do you want from me? I don't agree to this, and you can't force-" she was still talking when he captured her lips again.
He wondered why she was pushing him away when he could feel her hard nipples as they pressed against his chest. Rachael's legs dug into the sheets and she clutched the sheets. She moaned into his mouth when he kissed her deeply, with his tongue exploring her mouth.
She wasn't kissing him back, but he didn't care, he just wanted her under him. It felt like that was where she was meant to be, under him, that was precisely where she belonged.
Rachael, who was getting lost in the heat immediately, snapped back to reality when his hand went to grasp her butt, reminding that she was in pain. As if getting the strength from somewhere, she pushed him away, separating them successfully, and did something she never thought she could.
She slapped him across the face. It was as if the world around them stopped, and it was just the two of them staring at each other in the dim room.
Derek leaned down with their faces just an itch apart.
"I'm not certain how long you've been here, but I'm glad to inform you that you just made a big mistake, and you've earned yourself an enemy for slapping the devil." He relayed and got off her.
Rachael found it difficult to breathe. His voice was damn scary and she couldn't imagine his face. He seemed serious and she wanted to go after him and apologize, but her feet felt numb.
She prayed that this mysterious man would forgive and forget her. Her sanity came back, and she snapped at her for being silly, the man clearly took advantage of her. He tried to assault her against her will.
Never, she'll never stoop so low and beg that man after what he tried to do to her.

Derek was enraged. He walked back to the manager's office.
"Fire the girl," he commanded.
"Fire who sir?"
"Who else?" He asked with a deep voice that made the manager tremble.
He wasn't being specific, and he completely forgot that the girl he met was different from the girl he came looking for.
"O… Okay sir," she nodded without asking questions this time.
Derek walked out of the room. He saw his assistant at the door.
"Boss?"
"Let's go," he answered coldly.
Inside the car, his assistant informed him about the meeting he rescheduled because of Mr. Arnold's sudden request for celebration.
They got to the venue and everyone who set eyes on him trembled in fear. The surrounding air was colder than usual. He looked like the devil on normal occasions with a frown on his face, but now he had that cold look like he was about to rain hell on them and turn the earth upside down.
He sat down behind the short part of the long table. His leg was crossed over the other leg, and his eyes coldly moved around the meeting room.
They started the meeting immediately.
"The border will be closing on the 1st of next month," a member informed.
"If the border closes, then we can kiss our chances of getting the goods exported early goodbye," another member said.
"We can still give out more goods before they close the border, I'm sure we can," another said, trying to stay optimistic.
"Come on, Mr. Lee, how many goods do you think we can export before the 1st of next month? We have budgets on the ground and this would only slow us down. What would our clients say once we fail to keep to the agreement?"
"But we can't do anything about it. I mean… They must have heard the news as well." He said.
"You think they care? Look, just like every business minded person, they only care for themselves."
"Not all of them," the man disagreed.
"Show me anyone who isn't."
"So what should we do then?" He asked, finally giving up being optimistic.
Derek shook his head. People constantly change from being optimistic to being pessimistic.
"We can only compensate them for the delay."
"Boss, what should we do?" Finally, they were leaving the ball in his court.
His eyes looked at her without saying anything for a while.
"Smuggle the goods," he finally said with a serious voice.
Excerpt"Stop!" I cried, my voice hoarse with pain. "Please, just stop!"But they didn't stop. They kept kicking, kept punching, until I was curled up on the floor, my body aching with pain. The Reaper stood over me, his eyes blazing with anger. "You're not very cooperative, are you?" he sneered. "But that's okay. I have ways of making you talk."I looked up at him, my eyes filled with tears. "I'll never tell you," I whispered, my voice barely audible. The Reaper laughed, the sound cold and menacing. "We'll see about that," he said, his eyes glinting with anticipation. The Reaper's bored expression was a stark contrast to the chaos unfolding before him. His men continued to kick me, each blow landing with a sickening thud. I coughed up blood, my body wracked with pain. Tears streamed down my face, but I refused to beg. I knew that's what The Reaper wanted - for me to break, to plead for mercy. But I'd had enough of being at the mercy of men like him.My cousin Jon Gotti's death at the
Rachael's POV The backyard was transformed into an enchanting oasis, perfect for an unforgettable dinner party. The tablescape was a masterful blend of elegance and sophistication. It looked more breathtaking with the garden, creating a path to the gazebo.A soft, warm glow emanated from the candelabras, adorned with creamy white candles and delicate, sparkling crystals. The light danced across the room, casting a magical ambiance. The tables were draped in luxurious, ivory linens, with intricate lace trim adding a touch of vintage charm. A breathtaking floral arrangement served as the centerpiece, boasting an exquisite mix of fresh flowers in shades of blush, peach, and ivory. To complete the look, the walls were adorned with lush, green garlands, and the room was filled with the sweet, intoxicating scent of blooming flowers. It took a while to prepare all of this, but I didn't regret it. This was Derek's birthday, and I'd outdone myself this time. It was something I felt proud of
Regina's POV I stood in the kitchen, sipping a cup of coffee, as Daniel and I chatted about the latest development in our lives. Having a sister was still a new concept for me, and I couldn't help but feel a little strange about it.Daniel asked me how I felt about having a sister, and I hesitated for a moment before responding. "I feel...strange about it, I guess trying to put my emotions into words. "I can tell that Rachael is having a hard time wrapping her head around everything, too."Daniel nodded understandingly, and I could sense his empathy. "But despite all the uncertainty," I said, , I have a strong feeling that things might work out well for us," I continued. "We've been deprived of so much for so long, and this feels like our chance to reclaim everything we've lost."__As I spoke, Daniel wrapped his arms around me from behind, pulling me close. His warmth and comfort enveloped me, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me."That's the reason my life has so much meaning,"
Rachael's POV "Welcome back home," I said, pushing the door to the room open and a smile stretched across my lips. "What do you think? Don't you miss home," I said with a teasing smile, but a gasp escaped my lips when he wrapped his arms around my waist."Hmm... I missed this," his voice, dripping with intimacy. I could tell that he wasn't talking about the room but something else... Or perhaps something else. "Yeah, why don't you rest for a bit and then--" the breath was knocked out from my lungs when he spun me around and pulled me closer to him. He leaned so our lips were just an inch away. "I'm tired of resting, sweetheart. I want to do something else," he sealed my lips with a kiss before I could say another word. I placed a hand on his chest, trying to push him away, but he grabbed my hand and walked forward, causing me to move back instinctively until the back of my legs touched the bed. My heart skipped a beat when he gave me a slight push and I fell on the bed.My breath w
Regina's POV I chuckled, thinking that Derek was joking. "That's impossible," I said, shaking my head. But Derek's expression was serious, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. I stared at him in shock, my mind racing with questions. And then my gaze moved to Rachael, who looked just as stunned as I did.I had felt a pull towards Rachael, a sense of connection that I couldn't explain. I had thought that we could be friends, but sisters? It seemed impossible. But Derek was never one to crack jokes with me. He was a straightforward person, and if he said that Rachael and I were sisters, then I had to believe him."I can prove it," Derek said, his eyes locked on mine. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number, his expression serious. We waited in silence for a few minutes, and then a woman stepped into the room. She was a female doctor, probably in her late thirties, with a kind face and a warm smile."Hello," she said, introducing herself as Dr. Ella. "I'm the girls' aunt from their
Derek's POV I couldn't help but chuckle as Rachael scolded me, her voice stern but her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Derek, you need to stop moving around so much! Your wounds are still healing, and you're going to open them up again if you're not careful."I grabbed her hand and pulled her down onto the bed with me, wrapping my arms around her. "I'm fine, Rachael," I said, smiling up at her. "And besides, I've had the best nurse taking care of me."It had been a few days since I'd been in the hospital, and Rachael had been by my side the entire time. She'd only left to go home and change, or to bring me food. But apart from that, she'd spent every waking moment with me.We'd even made love on the hospital bed once, which had been a whole new experience for both of us. It had been a little uncomfortable, but it had also been incredibly intimate. And now that we were finally dating, it felt like an entire new world had opened up for us.I looked up at Rachael, feeling grateful for h
