Ace

I hated I had lied to my wife from the beginning, but I was paying for it dearly. I was about to rectify everything. She forgot everything in Tanzania and be my wife, after all. It might have been forced, but I’m thrilled to be flying back home with her. The house hasn’t been home since the night she left.

What I was doing seemed like the worst thing, but I needed to whip my wife in shape. She might look at me like I was the bad guy, but this needed to be done. She might not understand me now, but I needed her strength, not tears for what we were going to do. 

This was just the tip of the iceberg. She was getting the crash course on how mafia business works. There are times she will need to protect herself and fight. Her crying would solve nothing.
