“Are you done daydreaming about Ruby?” Ace scowled, looking unimpressed.
I was sitting across from Ace with a smile forming at the corners of my face. Ruby didn't know how to think or breathe when she saw me. It was exciting to hear such words considering that with me she hardly spoke about her feelings with me. I might have a weird way of showing I care, but I loved that girl.
“Are you seriously still doubting Diya? After hearing all that?” I asked.
"Yes."
I rubbed my chin, leaning back in my seat. I shook my head at him. I will not let his bad mood spoil mine. Ruby didn’t exactly say it, but she loved me. I smiled again.

Ruby I was never going to shoot him, but he shot Filip. After the gun sounded, I felt as if I was paralyzed and shocked. Tears were coming from my eyes, but I couldn't speak. Matt I just knew something had happened when I tried to call Diya earlier and her phone kept ringing with no response. When she had eventually answered, I could tell something was off. Diya When the police came and took me, I was tired. I knew I was innocent. Screaming or shouting was going to stop them from taking me. I would waste energy trying to get my husband to rescue me.
