I can be your girl

“Uh! Thank God, it is a national holiday tomorrow. I can breathe in relief,” Kristen mumbled, dropping beside me.

Our bus was on halt waiting for other students to get in. I sat on the window seat, supporting my head with my hand and staring at the space. Even though it was a holiday the next day, I was not happy at all. 

“Was it because of seeing Newt with the girl I dislike? Was it because even after being with me he didn’t pay much attention during lunch break? Or was it because I was not going to see him the next day?”

Whatever the reason was I was not able to have the answer. When Kristen slapped my lap, I flinched.

“Ahh! Krist, stop it…”
