“Dumb?” Tarry rumbled and as we averted our gaze at him, he was standing before us, hands tucked on his hips and an expression blanketed with disappointment.

Glaring at Kristen, he rumbled, “Why would you even call me that?”

Folding her arms, she replied shortly, “Because you are one.”

I elbowed her, trying to stop her from being rude. “Krist, stop being mean to him.”

“No, I am not being rude, I am just stating the facts. Is it a crime to do that?” she questioned.

“No, but seeing the way you are acting it seems like you are jealous?” I quipped, chuckling.

“Jealous? For him?” She rolled her eyes. “Duh! Think of something which is going to happen, girl, not such nonsense.”

“Prisha, I think we should go add our names to the list rather than waste our time here with nonsense girls,” suggested Tarry.

‘Oh! My! I bet Tarry got straight on her nerves.’
