For Lotte, the whole ride to her favorite diner was like falling down a rabbit hole. This town looked exactly as it had this morning when she clocked in at the bakery, and yet it somehow also felt so wrong. Staring into the back of David’s head, she acquired this bizarre urge to stroke his feather-light hair a few times. In fact, the overpowering desire became so strong that Lotte had to force her hands to rest under her ass or risk making an incredible fool of herself.

As if she were able to read her niece’s mind, Romy’s left hand suddenly appeared from the passenger seat and mimicked exactly what Charlotte had wanted. Her ruby nails even gilded down the driver’s neck a little, forming goose bumps that Lotte could see from her position in the back seat. In the rear-view mirror, the girl watched as David’s smile lifted just a bit more. For some reason - some insane reason - this made Charlotte’s stomach fill with jealousy… Followed by immediate shame.

The Aunt and Niece never had any complications when it came to men. Now, when Romy finally brought ‘home’ a good one, Lotte was sitting directly behind her and wanted to pull out the older woman’s weaves.

By the time the car pulled up to the diner, Charlotte was ready to just ask for a ride back to the bakery. She felt savage - animalistic - and incredibly scary… But then David looked back at her and smiled. “This place is charming. I hope they have milkshakes.”

“I love milkshakes,” Romy lied. Lotte had to hold back from rolling her eyes. Outside of anything from the bakery, Romy never touched sweets. She was always going on about how fat she was and would even shame Charlotte for finishing an entire brownie on her own. “What flavor is your favorite?” The older woman asked with a strange pep in her voice, reaching out a hand to rest over the one that David still had clung to the driver’s seat.

Without missing a beat, the Doctor answered, “Chocolate.”

“Me too!” Romy cheered, as if their being together at this very moment, both ‘fans’ of the same drink, were some confirmation from the stars.

David, missing the overenthusiasm, focused his attention on Charlotte, “And what about you?”

Romy snorted, cutting her niece off. “Oh, Lotte hates sweets…”

Lotte’s jaw practically hit the car floor.

Of course, Romy’s answer confused David greatly, “But then why work for a bakery? That must be torture…”

It was as if Charlotte were no longer in the car as Romy continued. “Lotte just wants to be a baker because her mother was. My sister could make anything taste delicious. Charlotte just wants to keep her mother’s memory alive.”

David’s gaze never left Lotte’s as the girl clamped down her teeth over her tongue. Again and again, she had to remind herself that this was the first decent guy that Romy had ever brought about, and it would have been a massive douche move to chase him off so soon. Lifting the corners of her mouth, the girl fixed David with a soft smile. “Let’s get inside then - I’m starving!”

Leading the way, Charlotte led everyone into the diner and motioned toward her favorite booth. It was one facing the Ocean and was close enough to the grill to get the most mouthwatering aroma of meat. The new waitress, Deb (one that Lotte already really liked), rushed to their table and began getting everyone’s drink orders. To Charlotte’s amusement, Romy, in a rush to order a diet soda, forgot to put in for a shake, unlike everyone else at the table.

David’s gaze swept to the rolling waves outside. “That is absolutely beautiful. I wish we lived closer to the Ocean.”

Romy batted her eyes, “We?”

The Doctor’s focus didn’t shift from the window as he answered, “I have 3 sons… We live in a mountain Cabin in Varglow, Colorado.” Finally turning to his lunch ‘date’, the man’s tone took on a teasing air as he reminded Romy, “I did tell you all this last night; however, you were a bit out of it.”

Lotte grinned into the milkshake that had just been placed in front of her. Going entirely off of habit, the girl reached for the cherry on top and plopped it into her mouth. The best part of the drink… And then another cherry appeared. Looking up quickly, Charlotte watched David’s hand make a hasty retreat back to his end of the table after gifting her his cherry. That was sweet - too sweet - and for another long moment she was once more too stunned to know what to say.

Romy clicked her tongue, “Young lady, where are your manners? You should thank David.”

With cheeks almost as red as the new cherry on top of her drink, Lotte muttered a sloppy, “Thhhhannk youuuu.”

Saved by Deb, the waitress cleared her throat and cheerfully asked what everyone was in the mood for. Still attempting to play the ‘dream girl’ scenario that Romy had probably picked up in a random magazine, the older woman requested a salad without croutons. The order pushed Lotte’s lips into a pucker as she asked for the new ‘Holiday Burger’ (which came with cranberries, brie, and bacon), and a side of stuffing-stuffed mushroom bites. It was even more amusing when David, practically drooling, ordered the same thing, extra bacon. The Doctor liked his meat…

An overwhelming wave of embarrassment fell over Lotte as she feebly shuffled her way over to the Doctor. She didn’t know what her face looked like, but the way David was watching her made the girl think it was pretty bad. Reaching the lock, she slowly turned it, then waited as he threw the door open and rushed in. In two heartbeats, she was in the man’s arms and burying her face into his credibly warm shoulder. He smelled amazing, and Lotte had to show great restraint in order to stop herself from taking a huge whiff of his scent. With one arm around Charlotte’s middle and his other hand woven through the girl’s hair, the Doctor took a deep breath. “Where have you been?” He whispered soothingly. “I woke up this morning, and Levi said that you had been out all night.” Lotte wanted to answer; however, her mind was fogged by how warm the man was. Luckily, Barbara had come up behind her and heard David’s question. In as equally soft a voice, the woman answered, “She was at the church al

Lotte had to give it to Barbara; she was a great card shark. By the time that lunch rolled around, and the two of them were ready see what ‘The Diner’s’ special was, Charlotte ‘owed’ her boss a little shy of $2000. “We need to take a road trip,” the girl joked. “If we plant you at the card tables of the nearest casino, just imagine all the fixes we could make to this place.”Barbara smirked and rose from her desk, “And what is wrong with this place, ma’am?!” Charlotte ducked her head. “It has great personality,” she started, “And I promise to tell it so tonight before bed.” The bigger woman led the way to the front doors, “I still think you should ask Chris if you could crash at his place. You are more than welcome here, and to shower at my apartment, I just think you would be more comfortable elsewhere.” Lotte nodded in understanding. “Unforunately that was what got me in this situation in the first place. I need to find somewhere more permanent… I’ve moved around most of my life

Charlotte’s eyes couldn’t have gone any wider as she stared at the lean woman across from her. “Lupman?”“Why yes, darling,” Teresa confirmed. “That disrespected woman resting in our chapel is the very late wife of darling Henry…” Barbara’s smile grew, “Isn’t that just the way of the world? Henry has been kind to Lotte, and then the universe gave her a chance to share that kindness back. I don’t think Henry would have wanted anyone else to find Anast…” “This place is all wrong,” Denise interrupted. She clung to her furs as if they were some kind of life vest. “It is god-awful. Like something out of a sick and twisted fantasy. ” “Watch it,” Judy warned, her glasses slightly fogged from the damp air outside. “Yes,” Sara agreed, her voice dripping with venom. “Watch it…” Her hollow gaze drilled into Denise until the other woman took several steps back. Reaching out an arm, she linked with Victoria, and the two of them turned on their heels in the direction of the Chapel. Teresa att

The light that woke Lotte the next day was a soft blue with a hint of green. Blinking in confusion, her gaze fell on stained glass windows. They were beautiful, even more so with the gray light flooding in from behind them. The gentle tapping on the window let the girl know that it was still raining outside. Yawning, she sat up and stretched, her wide eyes taking in the office through the light of day. It was cozier than it appeared the night before and seemed incredibly welcoming despite the lack of coffee in the pot sitting on a rectangular table by the door… or the empty space where donuts could be. Stomach growling, Charlotte groaned and began quickly dressing. Despite it being a bit warmer than it had been the previous evening, the girl wrapped herself in the blanket once more, grabbed her shoes/socks, and padded off to the chapel. Even with the light sound of thunder and the soft rhythm of raindrops, the building was still incredibly quiet. She didn’t mind that as much as she w

Lying stretched out, mostly naked, on a fluffy blanket in the middle of a field was not what Charlotte would have called the perfect ending to a long day. Teeth rattling, she took note that the basket was gone (which made her roll her eyes), and began wrapping herself in the blanket. It was thick enough to battle against the breeze, which was picking up by the second. However, several raindrops had now fallen across Lotte’s face, smacking at her with a force that made the girl wince. She knew that she didn’t have long before things got colder - and wetter - so she rocked from side to side until she was able to make it to her stomach. Still bundling the blanket as tightly around her frame as she could, Charlotte heaved herself up onto her feet and waddled toward the edge of the clearing. Feeling like some kind of dejected roly-poly, the girl pushed passed the heavy tree branches and followed the soft glow still coming from the church windows. It felt like some kindred neighbor invitin

The sound of her scream of pleasure was enough to make Charlotte’s throat sting. He was filling her up with his length, and it was beyond anything she could have ever fantasized. Without a doubt, Lotte now knew that she was wide awake and being fucked from behind by a complete stranger. His gloved hands were both firmly pressed into the girl’s hips, keeping her bent over the blanket while her backside was yanked further up, bringing Charlotte to the tips of her toes. It was an odd angle for her body; however, she wasn’t about to complain. Particularly not when he was finally done filling her up. “Mmm, baby,” The shadow murmured again. “You were made to be mine.” Lotte wanted to respond. She wanted to come up with a quirky quip back, but her mouth had other ideas when the stranger’s shaft pulled out quite suddenly - and then returned with a thrust that cranked her trembling up to a 10. Releasing another screech of joy, Charlotte could feel something inside of her snap. “Now,” the s
