Anaya rushed into the hospital and rushed straight to the reception desk. “Uh, Theresa…” She trailed off and realised she didn’t even know Theresa’s last name. “I don’t know her name but she fainted and was rushed to this hospital.”

“You will need to give me her full name for me to give you any details, ma’am.” The lady behind the desk said.

“Anaya.”

Anaya turned her head to see Henry stepping into the building with Alex behind him. “Henry, did Greta call you as well.”

“Yes.” Henry said and turned towards the receptionist. “A VIP room registered under Henry Fitzgerald.”

The lady’s eyes widened slightly before she moved to type something on the computer. “Room 126, sir.”

“Thank you.” Henry held Anaya’s hand as they headed towards the elevator.

When they got to the room, the doctor was just leaving the room and Henry followed him out of the room. Anaya moved inside to see a pale Theresa on the bed with the IV drip next to her.

“Anaya.” Greta was about to stand up from the couch but

“Long time no see, Margeret.” Anaya smiled as she welcomed her mother-in-law into the house. When Margeret called her this morning that she would stop by in the afternoon on her way from her office, Anaya was overjoyed. Margeret had been more outgoing these days and Anaya was happy to see her stepping out of the shell she placed herself in after the truth about Hana was revealed.“Hey you.” Margeret returned her smile and pulled her in for a tight hug. “Pregnancy looks so good on you.” “What? Don’t flatter me, I feel the exact opposite.” Anaya huffed as they walked into the house.“Henry told me about how extreme your morning sickness can be. I brought some fruits to help you with that. Let me help you peel the oranges.” Margeret said as she moved towards the kitchen.Anaya wanted to stop her from going there but decided against it as she would find out now or later. Following behind Margeret, she paused when Margeret stopped in her tracks at the entrance of the kitchen.Theresa, who

“Anaya.” Henry turned towards her after Theresa rushed into her room with tears. “What happened?”“I–” Anaya opened her mouth to answer him but no words came out. She didn’t know what to say because she didn’t actually know what happened. One minute, Theresa was speaking to her rudely and commanding her on how to raise Ryle and the next, she was in tears and calling Anaya the mean one.“Aunt Theresa said mommy is not my mommy! Who’s Lauren, daddy?” Ryle said and Anaya sighed.Ryle wouldn’t do his homework and I was just so tired I yelled at him. Theresa came in and started lecturing me on how to raise him. She–She said Lauren wouldn’t have raised him like this and I got angry and snapped at her.” Anaya told him the truth.“Anaya.” Henry let out an exhausted breath. “You didn’t have to yell at her, reminding her of her sister’s death. I told you yesterday that–”“What?” Anaya cut him off with a frown. “Did you hear what I just said? She ordered me like I was some babysitter taking care

"No, I don’t want to!” Ryle said, stomping his feet on the floor and crossing his arms across his chest.“But you have to. Your teacher won’t be happy if she sees you haven’t done your homework, Ryle.” Anaya took the book from the table and moved closer to him. “Come, it won’t take more than five minutes. Mommy will help you with it.” Anaya has been begging Ryle over this for the past thirty minutes and she was already tired of his whines and complaints. She hadn’t been able to sleep well last night after the little argument she had with Henry regarding Theresa. And her morning sickness had been the worst this morning. She vomited twice and couldn’t even eat breakfast. She had been in bed till afternoon until Ryle came back from school and came into the room to say hi.He had been watching cartoons ever since he came back from school and it was almost dinnertime, yet, he hadn’t done his homework.“I said I don’t want to!” Ryle raged, dragging the book from her and throwing it across

Henry stared at Theresa who was breathing gently and sighed under his breath. He wanted to go after Anaya and plead for her to forgive him for jumping to conclusions. He thought Anaya was alright with having Theresa in the house for a while but it seemed he had been naive to think that. He knew he wouldn’t be happy if Anaya had brought home her ex’s sister or brother to stay with them.Even though Anaya was an understanding person, there were limits he shouldn’t cross and it seemed he had overstepped his boundaries by bringing Theresa to the house.“Uh, Henry, I’ll be back. I need to get something to drink. Should I get you something?” Greta got up from the chair as she asked.“Just water will be fine.” Henry replied and Greta nodded before stepping out of the room.Henry sat on the stool as he watched a sleeping Theresa, feeling sorry that she had to go through all this. She was in a very bad state when she was found and he thought she was getting better this morning but this inciden

  • You Want Me Back, Don't You?   Tea Time With Her Therapist

“So, let me lay it all out and get this straight. Your husband’s late ex-wife’s sister is currently living with you?” Dr. Thompson adjusted her red-rimmed glasses as she rested her elbows on the desk.“Gee, hearing it out loud sounds like all shades of wrong.” Anaya laughed a bit. “Yes, she will be staying with us for a few days.” Anaya had an appointment with her therapist once every week and it was a session of relief for her. Dr. Thompson was talented in making her tell her most traumatic stories without the fear of feeling judged. It was thanks to her therapy sessions that Anaya had stopped having her nightmares after the whole fiasco with Daisy and Sandra. Even though she hadn’t been in her best condition with her pregnancy, she didn’t want to miss out on the appointments, especially after she nearly had a panic attack last night.“And how does that make you feel?” Dr. Thompson asked, her deep eyes gentle and understanding.“I…I don’t know.” Anaya said, her head already aching
