Max’s POV
The doorbell rang a few times. Dove came out of her room. “Who’s it?”
“I don’t know.”“Open then!” She ordered me. I stood up frustratingly and opened the door. It was the Police. My eyes shone in excitement. Samantha complained for me!
The Police took Dove with them. They had all the proofs with them. I directly went to Samantha after giving my statement. She was at her house.
“Samantha,” I said as she opened the door.
“Max!” She gasped and hugged me. I was shocked, but hugged her back.“I thought you hated me…” I confessed.
“I… of course, I am angry and all… but I can never hate you…”I smiled and cupped her face. “Let me make it up to you.”
