“I’m coming out!” He could almost hear her speaking through clenched teeth through the phone. He chuckled softly and answered, “Sure, I’ll be waiting for you.”

She came out soon and caught sight of the striking, black car stopped by the side of the street right outside the gates of the housing estate. It was a chilly winter night, so there were very few pedestrians crossing the remote street. Nonetheless, she still glanced side to side before she jogged over and opened the rear door of the car.
