I didn't tell them

Happy wasn't even a word to describe how I felt. I was whole, like everything in my life was okay, even though I knew it wasn't. Being with him made me feel complete, and I knew it was a dangerous feeling considering our situation at hand, but I couldn't help myself.

I opened the door, not even worrying about the girls anymore. They already knew I was with Aiden, and today I didn't care what they said to me, because I knew the truth and that's what mattered.

I strolled past the kitchen towards the stairs when I heard their voices from the sitting room. They were a little far away, but since it was quiet, I could hear them.

It was faint, but for some reason caught my attention. I went a little closer when I heard Rebecca's words.

"I thought she was kidding when she told us, she was not in competition with anyone." She laughed .
