Chapter nine

After I woke up from my nap I realized that I had forgotten to pull something out for supper so I decided to order some subs for dinner to eat when Dad gets home. I didn't really feel like going out to pick them up so I had them delivered even though it was only down the road. They were happy to make the delivery and they got a lot of business from me. I know it sounds bad, always ordering out, but now that I am working with dad and he is putting in all of these extra hours at the office, I haven't cooked as much. It was getting late so I decided to go ahead and eat without him. As I started the dishes Dad finally showed up. It was now a little after eight, soon David would be here. I guess I should tell Dad so he knows what my plans are for this evening. I know he won't mind but I don't want him being surprised when David shows up with an overnight bag.
