Chapter 1: First Love Is Married!

New London is sunny today. The weather was warm and bright.

In the calm, windy sea, a couple is holding a wedding ceremony.

Just in the shape of a big heart covered with roses in the middle of the hall, the bride and groom's names are engraved in bold colors: Ethan Louis and Joe Pearl. A hundred happy years.

The guests around each person had a glass of wine in their hands and gathered together. They cheered with joy, enjoying the long-awaited particular party to the fullest.

Louis and Pearl began to fall in love during their college days, and until now, they have never changed. All acquaintances understand their love story, are touched, have fun, and sometimes misunderstand each other.

But back together.

Families, friends, and college students were all present to toast. Only one person didn't come.

Rosabella White has already arrived. Eventually, she decided not to go in.

The festive air made her sad. Her heart hurts. How can she smile? A smile trying to show that she's truly blessed?

Rosabella still can't do it, and she can't let go. It's still love and passion. She's madly in love with Louis.

Rosabella has been away from college for two years. Like many ordinary girls, Rosabella has a normal appearance and personality. Perhaps, the most striking thing about her is her undying love for her first love.

She met Louis in her early years of fifteen and sixteen. At that time, in her heart, she had a notion of constant love for Louis.

Where he studied, where he worked, where he lived, where he lived, where he lived, at the university, at the company, every stop was reprinted with Rosabella's footprints. In his eyes, Rosabella is like the beginning of this story, an ordinary girl among all the people who pass by him.

Rosabella never showed up or tried to stand out in front of Louis. The only thing that exists is the love and laughter for him silently for many days. By the time she dared to wait years for him to be friends with him, Louis was another girl's boyfriend.

Unlike Rosabella, Pearl is Louis' junior in college. Famous for her sweet and gentle appearance, her smile was pure, and her eyes glistened, she met Pearl once, and he captured Louis’ heart.

Of course, Rosabella is not an idiot. How can she not know the bitter truth? Just what else can she do? This love is all for him, but his heart isn't there. Is there anything else Rosabella can do besides quietly endure being with him, looking at him like a regular friend for a long time?

So many times Rosabella wondered, if she had met him first, why not make him fall in love with her? Or if she also boldly confesses to Louis, will he one day truly love her?

Rosabella is tormented. The nostalgia for shyness lingered in her mind. Leave a painful scar that Rosabella couldn't erase. She couldn't imagine if one day she could walk beside Louis smiling. Would the sky be as beautiful as today's wedding?

The memory of Louis' love for him is so deep that Rosabella's heart has never accepted any other people besides him. It's been over nine years, but it is still the exact figure. She's been in love with one person forever.

It's just that Louis got married today. He fulfills his wish and marries Pearl to be his wife. But he doesn't know, and there's a girl who's always quietly walking beside him, until this moment, smiling happily, just a frozen heart. It's too cold, too cold for unrequited love.

It was that warm and sunny in New LonDon, it was worth living for, but now in Rosabella's eyes, all of them died of smog.

Rosabella has been walking around the city she's been attached to all day. Many memories of the days of chasing after Louis' love are visible.

Rosabella came to this beautiful sea city because of Louis. Because this place has him, someone she loves, a girl in the mountains like her chose this good land as a place to live. Not only does she expect this to be a destination for her future, but she also embraces that future dream, including him. Unfortunately, dreams are still dreams. He's someone else's husband now.

Rosabella's footsteps are numb with a cold heart. She couldn't stand the overwhelming resentment and hurt. She only wished he had looked back at her once in his life. Why is it so hard?

How many headshots can we change at a meeting? When doesn't Louis give her a slight chance?

The street was empty at midnight, lights went out, and Rosabella wobbled.

She's tired. She wants to stop.

Will God grant her the wish of her heart if she closes her eyes and dies for a while?

How is that possible?

"Let's go home, Rosabella." A man appeared, holding Rosabella's hand, and her whole body was drooling with shock.

Without looking up at Rosabella knows who's holding her. But she coldly shook her hand, continuing on a path without light.

"Can you appreciate yourself? He's married, too. For whatever reason, you still have to torment yourself like that?" Jonathan grabbed Rosabella's shoulder and turned her against him, staring at her as if he were even more heartbroken.

Rosabella closed her eyes softly, still gently rubbing her hands away. This time, she looked Jonathan in the eye just a little bit: “Go home. I want to be alone."

Is it worth it to let herself sink like that for one personally?

Is it worth it for one person to go on in such a quiet and miserable?

Jonathan knows the answer, just as he knows she won't answer, just Rosabella's tiredness, just like his insistence on her best friend. Louis didn't see through her heart. Rosabella didn't see through his heart. That's life! That's the pity.

Rosabella walks ahead. He's quietly behind.

It's not now that he's come to bring her back to reality, but since Rosabella left that wedding, he's been following her.

Rosabella has remained unaware of his existence all day today, all these years. Apart from identifying him as a close friend from childhood to adulthood, Rosabella never looked back. So no matter how passionate his affection for her, Rosabella doesn't even feel it.

There is only one man in Rosabella's eyes, and so is his.

They're, like, very similar, too.

"Girl, would you like to come in for a tour?" A soft, warm voice suddenly rang out.

Rosabella raised her glazed eyes, somewhat swollen from crying. Around her, the streetlights went out most of the time, and only the place in front of her was still bright.

The shop's ancient European-style golden color attracts strange eyes.

Rosabella wasn't in the mood for anything else. But somehow, she couldn't take her eyes off it.

Rosabella looked up quietly, and this shop was called "Sales of Time."

It's a weird name inside of her. Everyone knows that time is priceless and never recovered after it's over. And this store dares to name it part-time.

Sell something so priceless, is that okay? So the person who bought it, what's the price?
