Off world and a confusing king

I sat up slowly. My body ached from sleeping so long. I stood and felt a vibration under my feet. Like the humming of an engine. I walked through Dregs suite and exited. I looked up and down the hall for a guard, specifically Jason. I furrowed my brow and figured I'd go to the lower levels to see if Davin and the others were still around. Thankfully the lift was repaired. I got on it and pushed down. When I reached the ground I was stunned. The lower level was filled with cattle. I could see Davin and Jennifer giving shots to the animals. I rushed over to them, smiling.

"You're staying?" They looked at me oddly and replied," You're finally awake and have missed much." Davin patted my back. I raised my brow and he sighed. 

"The Phragmites detonated six of the twelve super volcanoes on earth. Al
