Chapter 2

The drive took all night and all Bonnie could do was cry silently. How could this have happened to her? She's just a helpless blind girl.

The car come to a rough stop causing Bonnie to hit her head behind the seat she was sitting behind at.

The car door on her side opened and her eyes filled with tears as she was thrown over a shoulder. She helplessly tried to use her other senses to try and figure out her surroundings. Trees, lots of trees. "Help! Somebody, help!" She screamed.

Lorenzo chuckled as he opened the door to his house. "Oh love, no one can hear you from here. We're far away from civilization. Very, very far." He said placing her down.

"Lorenzo! You're back. Oh dear, who's this?" Lorenzo turned around and saw the woman who practically raised him, Grace.

Lorenzo sighed, "We were taking care of some business and she witnessed it." He said.

Bonnie furrowed her eyebrows, "I'm blind." She hissed. Grace tilted her head to get a clear view of Bonnie. Her eyes were a silver colour as they helplessly roamed around the room as if she could see. They filled up with tears.

"Please, I beg you, take me home. I won't tell a soul." Bonnie whispered as her head turned where she could feel Lorenzo's presence.

"Grace, would you kindly show take her to the guest room, the one beside my room?" Lorenzo said as he gave Bonnie one last glance before walking out the living room.

Grace grasped Bonnie's small hand in hers but Bonnie snatched it away.

"Don't touch me." She hissed.

"How else will I lead you to your room?" Grace asked.

"My room? My room is back in California!" Bonnie screamed, her eyes tearing up with angry tears. "I want to go home. I just want to go home." She whispered.

"I'm sorry miss but once you're here, you can't leave. Lorenzo has already taken a liking in you." Grace said as she grabbed Bonnie's hand again and made her way up the stairs as Bonnie followed behind, studying her steps, for, you know, when she escapes. "A-A liking? What does that mean?" She asked softly.

Grace smiled, "You'll find out soon enough."

Walking almost a whole five minutes, they finally made it to the guest room. Grace opened the door.

"Okay, if you take about ten steps forward, you'll feel the bed. This room is not that large, so you'll get around easy." Bonnie bit her lip as she felt the soft bed with her hands.

"Come on," Grace grabbed her hand, walking slowly to the bathroom, that's connected to the room, as she gave Bonnie time to study the room with her hands.

"So this is the basin. Feel it." Bonnie glided her hands over the smooth basin.

This man must be extremely rich. She thought.

"To your left is a bathtub, walk a little forward you'll feel the toilet. That's it." Grace smiled as she watched Bonnie study the small bathroom with her hands.

Bonnie nodded. "Thank you for showing me around." She whispered, looking down.

"My pleasure, Miss." Grace said.

"My name is Bonnie."

Grace nodded, "Would you like to freshen up for dinner?" Bonnie sighed, but nodded.

'I guess I should get used to this.'
