Lyra's POVI stood in front of the mirror and barely recognized the woman looking back at me.The suit was sharper than anything I usually wore. Black, clean lines, no room for softness anywhere in it. Lyra's POVI sat on the edge of the bed with my phone still open in my hand, the photograph refusing to disappear no matter how many times I blinked.The message *Beautiful children.* Was still staring at me.Two words.
