Jace POV

I notice Arianne as she was discreetly checked her phone then her face flashed a look of horror. I can see her fighting hard to calm down but still trembling.

She whispered something to my secretary then leave in a hurry.

In five minutes I ended the meeting. Mr. Gomez and I signed the deal but then I told him that I have an urgent appointment that needed to attend to but I reassure him that we will celebrate the deal one of these days.

My secretary hurriedly ran to me as I turn to leave saying that Arianne has an emergency and that her son is in the hospital.

My mind was filled with mixed emotions then. I suddenly felt sad, mad, just in full rage. Did she really had the guts to betray me over and over again?
