chapter 3

Arianne was about to enter the restroom when someone grab her arm and drag her to the fire exit. Fear enveloped her right away but found relief when she recognized who it was.

"who was that?" Jace said with a scowl surprising her.

"Jace! I don't know what you're saying?" Arianne answered cluelessly.

"the man on your table! Who is it? Are you dating him?" he spat holding her arm firmly.

"that's Trent, a friend of ours! He's Deacon's bestfriend too!" her brows furrowed. So typical of Jace!

After a few seconds of staring at her intensely he quickly let go of her arm and turn away. 

"Jace? Can we talk?" she called him hesitantly but hoping he'll hear her.

He turn around with so much hatred in his eyes now. "what for? You already told me everything I need to move on with my life right?" he said bitterly.

"I don't have any idea what you're saying Jace." She said and look down.

The look in his eyes scares her a lot.

"no idea? Okay let me remind you!" he said then close the distance between them. He grab her head and kiss her angrily. It's more of punishing her. She can taste blood and she is not sure whether if it's hers or his.

But after a few minutes, the kiss that was full of untold emotions turned into a passionate one. 

By then, she wrap her hands in his neck and kissed him back. She wanted him to feel her affection towards him. And only for him.

The kiss went from rough to smooth with feelings of fondness and longing.

He kissed her more then bit her ear and whisper something. She nodded then walking hand in hand, they head to his car.

They refuse to talk anymore and let their eyes converse with each other.

They were already inside his car when Arianne phone rings.

"hello Dea!?!!"

"Yang, where are you? We've been looking for you!"

"Ohh sorry! I saw a friend and now we're heading home! Don't worry about me Dea!" reassuring him.

"okay Yang just be safe okay?"

"sure Dea! Remember the flight tomorrow huh? I'll meet you all at the airport! Bye!"

Jace thought Arianne is going to go back where she came from. 

Maybe she just went here to attend Kristinn and Mason's wedding.

Just when he thought they can have that talk and maybe, finally get a closure perhaps. He shook his head in frustration. He felt so upset that he told himself over and over not to give in to her but still his stupid heart refuse to cooperate.

Jace stop the car in front of a huge building. They both went out of it and Jace gave his key to the valet then he hold her hand and lead her to the elevator. 

They walked quietly. Both their minds are wandering into thinking about each other. Both saw warning bells but they ignored it unknowingly.

When they reach the top floor, he led her inside the penthouse unit. He close the door after her then grab her and kiss her hungrily beneath the doorframe.

When he finally let her lips free, he continued to kiss her in the neck down to her breasts while both of his hands starting to undress her leaving just her thong.

He take a quick and closer look at her body then drag her to his room and push her on the bed.

He started sucking and licking her nipples while massaging the other one. His kisses went down and Arianne held her breath when he pull down her thong and started eating her down. She released lots of moan and panting while he keep on doing what he started.

She got shock when he put a finger inside her then after a few seconds, he added another one.

Arianne felt like in ecstasy in this new feeling Jace is introducing to her. He continue pleasuring her until she reach her climax.

Jace then took out all his clothes including his boxer and hurriedly position himself in her.

Arianne's mind wander into dreamland upon seeing him fully naked. 

But she came back abruptly into reality upon feeling the searing pain from the penetration. She close her eyes and bit her lower lip. She cant help but let her tears ran down because of the pain.

Jace looked shocked to find out she remain a virgin a few seconds ago. He's pleased thinking that she still manage to remain intact for him.

He felt so happy that he even forgot her mistakes for a while.

All he could think at that moment is to just keep on pleasuring her until she reached her second climax and a few more thrusts he then followed.

After he calm down, he held her close to him and let her rest for a while in his arms before kissing her in the head. 

He get up after a few seconds which earn a disapproving look from Arianne.

He smile at her reaction. "i'm just going to help you clean up baby!"

When he came back from the bathroom with a towel on his hand, he gently clean her up. 

Without any words spoken between them, their eyes met.

Jace felt something strange. 

Could it be that he still feel something for her? Or is it possible, that what he felt in the past for her, is still there and never really left him?

He shook his head in confusion.

He return to the bathroom to clean up himself and prepare to sleep.

He decided to wait for tomorrow and make that talk with her.

When he see her already sleeping, he stroke her face with his fingers. 

He can't deny how much he missed her. 

And now he's thinking that maybe he can give them another chance. 

Hopefully, after a sincere talk they can resolve the issue of her disappearance several years ago.

She better has a good explaination then.

He smile thinking and hoping that tomorrow they can try to go back to where they left off.

After an hour of trying to get some sleep and failed, Jace decided to wake up Arianne so she can help him put himself to sleep.

He started biting and kissing her in the shoulder. 

"Jace I'm sleeping!!!" Arianne whined. She still look so adorable when she does that Jace thought to himself.

"I can't sleep! Help me babe please!!?!" 

"just close your eyes and keep your mind from thinking anything!" she said sleepily.

Jace shake his head grinning naughtily then kissed her seductively. After some moment, Arianne gave in. 

He made love at her twice after that then he decided to sleep snuggling to her tightly.

Jace got startled by the sound of his phone ringing. He look to his side and found Arianne still sleeping peacefully.

"hello?" he answered while walking into the terrace.

"Buddy, I just called to remind you about our meeting with the Livingston's. Their assistant informed me that there will be change of plans instead of tonight, they moved it to 12, so we could also have lunch there!" His friend and assistant Joey said.

"No problem I'll be there! Just don't forget to bring all the necessary documents we need for the signing!"

"Okay! And lastly, who is that pretty lady you're with last night? My friend Mitch saw you two from the club going to your car, huh? He said she's hot!"

"Of course you know me, I only settle for hot ladies dude!" he can't help but smile upon the thought of the woman who was still sleeping in his bed.

"sure Jace! But seriously, Mitch said she looks familiar..."

"She's my ex-girlfriend actually and we just hook up for closure you know!?" cutting Joey from any follow-up questions.

"Ohh poor girl! But why need closure? Is she really that good that you still need a closure when you can just leave her and get another one?"

"Yeah I guess! But things between us became badly complicated that's why we need to have a closure because you know she's friends with my friends and I don't want to make things more difficult when there would be time that we have to face each other again in front of our friends. That's just it!"

"Yeah I get it now! Anyways, see you later Mr. Keller?" Joey then said teasing him.

"Sure! Bye!" he chuckle and cut the call.

As the call ended, he look at the time and see that it still early so he decided to have a little sleep before waking Arianne for breakfast and for their much-awaited "talk".
