EMMA
"What a pathetic woman you are. Because of you, the Alpha has been destroyed. You've trapped him with your beauty," he spat at me. I let out a bitter laugh, laced with pain. He looked at the Alpha's shirt in my hand with disgust.
His disgust won't change my love for Elijah.
"Are you sure it's the Alpha who's been destroyed?" I asked, my voice tinged with hurt. He glared at me, his anger palpable.
"You’re an idiot. I’m the one who’s lost everything. I lost my sister's trust, her love... while Elijah still has everything—his wife, his pack. In time, he’ll have a child of his own, and Violet will start trusting him again. But what do I have?" he asked, his voice full of pain.
Everyone sees me as a home-wrecker, but no one understands my agony. I didn’t choose to fall in love with the wrong man, but how can you stop your heart from falling? My heart isn't in my control—it longs for Elijah, to just have him look at me with love in his eyes.
"You've captured his heart, and he’ll never be able to love Luna. There will be no future heir because the Alpha won’t touch his Luna," he said, but I didn’t understand his words. Violet is his mate. He will have physical relations with her in the future.
"Didn't you see it in Elijah's eyes? He won’t touch any woman but you. Do you really think I’ve done nothing to make you two separate?" he asked, and I braced myself to hear what he'd done.
"I hired a beautiful she-wolf for Elijah, hoping he’d lose interest in you. I tried to create misunderstandings so he'd leave you, but nothing worked. What kind of love is this that destroys lives?" he said, frustration in his voice. Now it all made sense.
I remember seeing Elijah with a naked woman once, but it was all part of his plan to hurt me.
"Love is complicated, and in our world, we only understand the bond of mates, not love," I replied sarcastically.
"It's all nonsense. The great Moon Goddess has paired us with mates, and everything else is fake," he said, dismissing my feelings. He didn't understand my love.
"Have you ever seen Violet, Luna, crying alone because Elijah no longer has interest in her? But I’m sure you ignored your sister’s pain," he added. It stung because it was true.
Violet had confided in me, not knowing I was the one destroying her home by taking the love of her life.
I didn’t ignore her pain, but every time Elijah touched me, my heart betrayed me. I couldn’t keep my distance from him, and I couldn’t control the feelings that came with his touch.
"I didn’t betray my sister; my heart did," I said, my voice breaking. "I can't control my heart or my body. My heart only understands Elijah."
"You’re an ungrateful sister. Forget about Luna. Have you thought about your mate, the one who was meant to be with you?" he asked, his words cutting me deeper. I laughed bitterly.
"I have no mate. The Moon Goddess played a cruel joke on me by not giving me one. She only gave me a heart that yearns for Elijah," I said, my voice full of resignation. I may be out of Elijah’s life, but no one can stop me from loving him. He will always live in my heart.
"This is what you deserve. Now you’ll suffer and live without a mate. Find someone else to satisfy your needs, but don’t ever come back to Alpha. If you do, I’ll be the first to destroy you," he warned, his words sharp.
"I won’t come back, but don’t mock my love for Elijah. I didn’t use him. I love him, and no matter what you say, you’ll never understand the deep connection we share," I said, frustrated that he could never see the truth.
"I don’t want to understand this nonsense. Alpha sent me to take you back to your home," he said, clearly annoyed that Elijah had given me his heart.
Elijah chose Violet, and so did I—her happiness over mine. But leaving him behind means leaving a love that will never fade.
My wolf is weak, so shifting is difficult, but Mason shifts into his large brown wolf, holding his clothes in his mouth. I climb onto his back, and he speeds me out of the pack's territory, stopping a little away from the airport.
He shifts back into his human form and gets dressed, then faces me.
"Goodbye, Emma. I hope I never see you again, you whore," he sneered, trying to hurt me, but I only smiled at him, turning toward my destination.
I'm going home to my father in Italy. He’ll be happy to see me, but can I hide the pain in my eyes from his watchful gaze?
I walk into the airport, check in, and sit by the window, waiting for my flight. I want to leave the pain behind, but how can I forget that it’s now a part of me?
The plane takes off, and a sharp pain pierces my heart. I’ll never see Elijah again, and Violet will hate me forever.
Goodbye, Alpha Elijah. I love you.
Goodbye, Violet. I’m sorry for breaking you to the point of attempting suicide.
I’m sorry, my heart, for leaving without Elijah.
EmmaThey took me to the van, and soon, they injected a sedative into my wrist. After that, everything went black—I couldn’t remember what happened next.A few hours later…I slowly opened my eyes, feeling disoriented. I found myself tied to a chair, my hands and legs bound tightly with ropes. Panic surged through me as I struggled against my restraints, but it was useless. My vision was still hazy, but soon I noticed a group of men-three of them—standing in front of me. One of them is holding sharp gadgets while the other one gripped a gun and another carried a metal rod.Fear coursed through my veins as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. "Who are you people? Why are you doing this to me?" I demanded, my voice shaking. One of them smirked. "You’ll find out soon enough. Our boss is on the way."I swallowed hard. "Who is your boss?" I asked, desperation creeping into my tone. Before they could answer, I heard the distinct sound of heels clicking against the cold floor. The slow
EmmaIt had been months since I had been away from Elijah, and these past eight months had been nothing short of hell. I had to carry this burden alone, struggling to get through each day. I was working at a manufacturing company where people only saw me as an object to satisfy their lust even though i am carrying a child inside me but nobody cares.A woman alone is nothing but a meat to feast upon.As usual, another exhausting day awaited me. With my swollen belly, I made my way to the office. It was a large company, but the people working there were vile.Carrying a file in my hand, I walked into the office and knock and then a strong voice called out, "Come in." I stepped inside, only to find my perverted boss sitting in his chair with a woman on top of him, straddling him shamelessly. Disgusted, I averted my eyes.He looked up at me and smirked. "Finally got the file?""Yes," I replied, placing it on the table and turning to leave."Wait," he ordered. I froze in place. He dismiss
ElijahI woke up with a pounding headache, pressing my hand against my forehead. "What is happening to me? Why does it hurt so much?"I tried to sit up, but then reality struck when I felt an arm draped over my waist. My breath hitched as I turned around—there she was, lying beside me in nothing but lingerie.Fuck. What did I do?And then, like a cruel movie, the events of last night started playing in my mind.*****************Flashback*******************As Emma left te mansion heartbroken, i realised that i did a grave mistake. I should have ran after her but i was too heartbroken to react. To mend my mistake I had spent the entire day searching for Emma, but she was nowhere to be found.I was devastated. I should never have let her leave, and now, I had no idea where she had gone.Tears welled in my eyes as I returned to the mansion, only to find Isha sitting at the dining table. As soon as she saw me, she asked, "Where is Emma? Did you find her?"I shook my head, and she started
EmmaI slowly opened my eyes and saw Samira looking at me with a wide smile on her face. I frowned, trying to process what was happening."What happened to me?" I asked, attempting to sit up. A sharp pain shot through my head, making me wince.Samira gently placed her hand on my shoulder and said, "Congratulations, my love. You’re pregnant."I froze. My heart pounded in disbelief. Had I heard her correctly?"This can’t be possible," I murmured, my voice laced with shock. "How can I be pregnant, Samira?"Samira chuckled. "Oh, come on! You’re a woman, not some supernatural being immune to pregnancy. And let’s be real—you do have a very healthy sex life."I instinctively placed a hand on my stomach, letting the reality sink in. I was pregnant. Oh my God.Tears welled up in my eyes, but this time, they weren’t from pain or heartbreak—they were from pure happiness. I had always dreamed of starting a family, but I never imagined the news would come like this. But just as quickly as joy fill
EmmaThe next day, I woke up and turned around, expecting to find Elijah beside me. Instead, I saw Isha sleeping peacefully next to me.Looking at her innocent face, I realized I had been too harsh on her Yesterday. In my anger, I had caused a rift between Elijah and me, jeopardizing our love story.I took a deep breath and sat up, only to feel a sharp throbbing in my head. What is happening to me? My body felt weak, and my head was pounding.I searched for water, but it was nowhere to be found. Forcing myself to get up, I made my way downstairs. Instead of heading to the kitchen, I accidentally entered the room next to mine and found Elijah sleeping soundly on his stomach. He was still in his clothes from the night before, looking so innocent and peaceful. I couldn't help myself—I walked over to him, gently ran my fingers through his hair, and whispered, "I'm sorry, my love. I was too harsh yesterday. But what can I do? I love you so much that I end up doubting every woman on this ea
EmmaI groaned in frustration and looked at Elijah "What is wrong with this girl?"Elijah looked concerned "I think she’s in trouble."Another knock sounded at the door, followed by a desperate voice "Please! Please open the door! Help me!"Elijah immediately got up, grabbing his clothes. I quickly did the same, my frustration growing. "Elijah, this doesn’t feel right."He cupped my cheek, his voice calm. "Baby, she’s just a little girl. A lot has happened in her life. She might be feeling scared—it’s okay."His words soothed me a little, but my unease remained. Elijah walked to the door and opened it. As soon as he did, Isha threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly. A pang of insecurity hit me, and I clenched my fists.Elijah gently pulled back and looked at her. "Isha, are you okay? Tell me what happened."Her teary eyes shimmered as she sniffled. "I... I was sleeping in my room when I heard strange noises. It was terrifying... I felt like something was there. I got so scare
