CHAPTER ONE

CHAPTER ONE

THE PSYCHO QUEEN

Bang…

Bang…

Bang…

“Are we supposed to protect the boss’s daughter, or protect them from her?” one man sighed in frustration. “She may end up spilling a lot of blood.”

Another voice chipped in, trembling. “Is she even human?”

Bang.

I stood in between the pillars, waiting for my opps to slip, a sadistic smile plastered on my face.

“Too slow, old man.”

Bang. Bang.

Gunshots rang through the building.

Her mocking laughter echoed in the warehouse, mixing with the sound of gunfire and sending an eerie chill through the hitmen.

“She’s too fast,” a man from the Raydim gang said, fear etched on his face. “How can that little bitch be this strong? Like she’s possessed by the devil himself.”

He turned back, ready to shoot, but was buckled to the ground in an instant.

“Hahaha, amazing,” I heard that all-too-familiar voice. “Really? Is that how amazing you think I am? I never knew you thought this highly of me.”

Hahaha.

(I was lost in my internal monologue when I got caught by this monster.)

“Ahhhh! What are you doing, little bitch? I will kill you!”

“Uhnn… really?” She smiled cruelly, blood smeared across her face. “There’s one thing I actually like. Wanna know?”

Her eyes shone with a strange, dangerous light.

“Tch! Get the fuck off me, bitch!”

“Yeah, too bad. I love blood, and this is where you die.”

Bang.

“Hahahahaha! This is fun. I want more blood. It’s so warm. I want more…”

“Die, you evil being!”

“Uhhhh, me?” she asked with a raised eyebrow.

The hitman ran toward her with a knife, screaming at the top of his lungs.

“Pitiful human. At least if you want to try killing me, bring a gun.”

Blood spilled everywhere as she continued fighting. Honestly, this wasn’t even a fight. With her around, it was just bullying.

“Boss! Boss! The chairman’s daughter has gone rogue. I think she’s in that state.”

I looked up at the little miss whose aura screamed murderous intent.

“Shit. How did we let things get to this stage? Mobilize the boss’s daughter if you still want your head intact.”

Everyone is on standby. Fire!

“Isn’t this amazing? So many maggots running around. I will crush them all under my feet. Hahaha.”

As she took a step forward, ready to fight, inducers were fired into her body to make her sleep.

She turned her eyes toward her gang, trying to fight the sleep. Anger rose as she was about to lose control. Then another inducer pierced her body.

She fell.

Before she hit the ground, they pushed a floater toward her.

Silence followed as her eyes closed, breaths controlled, bodies shaking with fear.

Someone whispered, “She’s a psychopath. Don’t you know her nickname?”

Another followed, “She’s called The Psycho Queen.”

“Damn! Who’s gonna carry her now? Absolutely not me,” a bald man said. “That girl terrifies me. I can’t get over when she flipped me over. Even unconscious, she’s scary.”

“Damn, can’t believe this innocent face caused this much damage. I thought she was just a brat throwing a tantrum about coming here.”

“Oh, you are new. That’s why you’re saying such naive words.”

“Good thing the miss is not really injured. If not, the boss would have tortured us personally, taking our limbs bit by bit. Shit, that’s scary.”

A temporary sign of relief appeared on their faces.

“Call the cleaning team to clean this mess up. The building is—”

“Ahhhhhhh!”

“What happened?”

Eyes widened in shock as realization dawned on him.

“The boss’s daughter is not breathing again!”

“Were the inducers too much? Okay, everyone, let’s not freak out. We just followed the boss’s order and induced her if she was ever going to crash out after the mission. I didn’t expect this.”

“We are dead. Either we kill ourselves here or face the boss.”

“We can’t face the boss. He’ll shoot us dead, drown us in acid, or throw us into one of his abandoned islands. I don’t want to die now. My parents haven’t enjoyed my money yet. Day one of work as a hitman and shit like this happens. How unlucky can I get…”

Amelia’s POV

A small smile crept onto my face as I heard them ranting.

I can’t laugh now. Let them panic a little more.

Actually, this wouldn’t have happened if they removed these damn needles from my body before celebrating.

The truth is, the inducers just weakened me. I didn’t fall asleep.

I had to teach them a lesson for their negligence. I’m sure Daddy’s gonna be so proud of me.

Tch. This stings.

Daddy might be mad. He said I shouldn’t kill anyone. I got a little—maybe not little—too excited and started a killing spree.

Uhnn. Shit. Shut the fuck up, all of you, and remove these damn needles from my body.

The noisy warehouse became silent after they heard my voice.

“Lil Miss… are you really alive, or is this your vengeful spirit speaking?”

Cold sweat broke out on their bodies.

“Ahhhhhhh!”

Everyone took a step back.

“I swear by anything you serve, if I, Amelia Kar, stand up from this spot, I will kill you all. Hurry over here and remove these things.”

The hitmen ran toward me, stumbling in their haste. They removed the needles.

“Even a slug could do better,” I mocked. “You only know how to piss your pants in battles. Pick up your pace, or I’ll lose my temper.”

Finally, the needles were out.

I stood up lazily, stretching—then everything went black.

“Mr. Cel, what have you done? We have to take her to the hospital immediately! Get the car! Let’s go!”

She stood up from her chair, about to walk out as if nothing had happened. Something in me snapped. Without thinking, I reached out and grabbed her hand, restraining her movement. The moment my fingers touched her skin— Chaos erupted. From different corners of the restaurant, men moved like shadows coming alive. Chairs scraped harshly against the floor, and within seconds, guns appeared from different angles, all pointed straight at me. Cold. Steady. Unforgiving. My body went rigid. My heartbeat slammed wildly against my chest, loud enough that I swore everyone could hear it. I slowly turned my head, my eyes landing on the black barrels aimed at me. What the hell…? Behind me, Damien sucked in a sharp breath. “Cyrus…” Jeff whispered, his voice trembling. I didn’t even dare to look back at them. That was when I saw her face. I brought my bike to a halt in front of an abandoned building, my nose crinkling as my brows furrowed. I walked toward the building, and the guards who had been lazing around stood abruptly from their positions, greeting me. I replied with a nod before stepping inside, only to be met with the sight of men training. One of the hitmen approached me and led me toward the torture room. "Thank you, young miss, for coming here," he said. He was met with silence. "We called you over because the suspect may be of your interest." "Hmm," I replied. We arrived in front of an iron door. "Please, after you, young miss." I stepped inside. I put on my gloves slowly. "You have the next one minute to start talking, or forget about leaving here with your complete body parts," I said in a neutral voice. "Speak. The young miss doesn't have the patience," one of the men warned. "One minute remaining." "Time's up." I picked up a pair of pliers. "For someone who hates pain, I wo

The morning classes were winding down, but the energy in the school was anything but calm. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, illuminating rows of polished desks and the occasional sneaker peeking out beneath a chair. Some students scribbled notes feverishly, pretending that today’s lesson mattered more than life itself. Others rested their heads lazily on their arms, earbuds tucked into their ears as they scrolled endlessly on their phones. A few more typed away on tablets or phones, posting memes or refreshing the school blog, which had been buzzing nonstop with speculation about the mysterious last transfer student.Rumors had taken over the corridors like wildfire. Some students whispered that she was a genius; others claimed she was from one of the most powerful families in the city. A few even said she had a reputation that made grown adults nervous. The Next Day A black limo rolled into the school grounds, drawing attention instantly. Students in expensive uniforms filled every corner, each moving in their own stylish rhythm, making the environment rowdy and alive. The car stopped smoothly in front of the school building. Out stepped a tall, handsome lad. “He’s here! Our school prince has arrived!” Girls screamed and fawned over him, some nearly tripping over themselves just to get a closer look. Cyrus scanned the area coolly, searching for his friends. Shit. Those bastards either haven’t arrived or went to class without me. A neatly dressed girl stood at the entrance, looking at him coldly. Cyrus felt the glare and turned toward the building. There she was. Tracy. A smile formed on his lips. “I’m surprised you waited for me.” She flicked his forehead. “I can’t stay mad at you for long, else you go the wrong path.” “Awwnnn, did you miss me that much, Trace?” “What the fuck!
