Did you really think that I would leave you alone in the house despite knowing how eager you are to run away if there's no alternative was set all along? Actually, I was wondering what you would do. You found the route of your escape faster than I expected. But unfortunately, you can't go anywhere as there's no boat. And as long as I call for one, nothing will come. Brandon's POV:Kayla, where is he?" I asked, my voice came out impatient."H-he c-couldn’t make it," She hiccuped in between her cries. Her chest rumbled from the force of sobbing.And it felt like I was hit by a lighting straight. I couldn’t believe my ears. For a second, it felt like my body was going numb.

Third person's POV:Kayla sat up on the bed and hugged Brandon. She cried and cried over the time they lost, over her heartbreak, the misunderstanding and over their baby."Why did I Iose my baby, I can never get him back, Brandon. Never. He left me without giving a chance to even hold him, see him." She sobbed.
