Cohen ran and just kept going. He was running aimlessly until his entire body felt exhausted from the running. He collapsed near a river and shifted back into his human form. The shift was proven painful as his wolf still wanted to force him to stay in his wolf form. He curled on the river bank, covered in mud and dirt. 

Days turned to weeks. Liam continued to expand his search in the hope of finding Cohen somewhere. He asked the help of his allies to cover more ground. But everyone hit a dead end. It seemed Cohen disappeared in thin air. 

A week passed and he only bunkered down in the apartment. For the whole week, Cohen reminized the six months he spent in his wolf form. For six months and the remaining three months, he spent trying to regain control of his own mind. He couldn’t control it fully but it was the best he could do at this moment. He tried to remember the things he did when he was in his wolf form. He didn’t know much about the people he hurt along the way as his memories were too fuzzy for him to remember anything much.
