Part 40. Romance is dead
As Jane sneaked out through the back exit, she spotted Tristan grinning widely as he stepped out of the car. He only had one bodyguard with him, his trusted one, Alfred. Before she could take a step further, someone from her university yelled Tristan’s name. “It’s the Prince!” Another one joined. And just like that, they were instantly swarmed with the paparazzi and students, trying to take exclusive pictures of them.  She felt suffocated with all the people approaching them, a wide grin on their faces as they tried to slid in beside the Prince and took selfies. That was new. Well, he was extraordinarily successful and handsome, so there’s that.  Tristan was a pro. He didn’t shy away from the pictures, posing with the peace sign and a fake smile. The bartender knew that it was fake because he always had crinkles around his eyes whenever he smiled.

Part 41. Tristan’s POV
/Tristan’s POV/  He stared as the bartender tried to focus on the pages of her book as if trying not to sigh in between. It’s a tough line. Interesting. Tristan was aware that she developed a bad habit of reaching for her phone in between and checking the internet. Mostly to see the news articles, a negative one at that written about her, which only spoils her mood. He ha

Part 42. Late Night Call
Tristan picked up the call on the first ring which made her brows shot up. Why was he up so late? She thought that it would be a few more rings before he woke up. Then she realised that he did have a habit of staying up late.     "The only reason I'm up is that I recognised your ringtone. So this better be good" He rumbled, his voice deep and sending a shiver down her spine.      A smile tugged at her lips. "You have a ringtone for me?"    "You don't have a ringtone for me?" Tristan mock offended asked. She could quickly identify the teasing tone in his voice. It's easy now because the bartender has spent a lot of time with him to know precisely his humour. To think she thought of him as some rich snob with massive dick in the beginning. The second part of it was correct, though. He

Part 43. Win win situation
As Jane descended the stairs, she caught sight of someone leaning against the wall, their voice barely a hiss. Unable to control her curiosity, she followed the direction of the sound, keeping a few feet distance, enough to catch the end of the conversation.    "I thought their dancing video would work"    The bartender froze at the mention of video. Maybe she was reaching, but it sounded a lot like that leaked video of Tristan and Florence dancing. Could be it. She wanted to confirm her suspicion, so she peeked forward and stared at the person. It was a guy in bodyguard uniform. Someone from the Palace recorded that video? The information shook her to the core. Why would he do it?     The bodyguards back were to her front, so she wasn't able to get a good look at him. That didn't faze her as she stoo

Part 44. Truth about Bodyguard Sanders
"Hey. Princeling?" In the mirror, she caught Tristan’s eyes and held them.   It was one of those days where she had to train under Bella. Frankly, Jane didn’t understand why she still had to do it. She thought the Que

Part 45. Duchess Florence
Tristan was waiting for Jane to arrive, thrumming with barely suppressed nerves, face pale and eyes wide. He was the very epitome of discomfort. Who wouldn't be? After the cryptic way she hung up the phone, he had every right to be nervous. Few minutes passed by, and she messaged him to meet her downstairs in the pool room.

Part 47. Sharing Room
Jane looked over Tristan. He looked so much younger when happy, stripped of those fake smiles and curt nods. The Prince was so much more, his dark lashes against skin that has only just begun to flush from the sun, a mouth that would be too wide on any other face. The breeze had his hair sticking to his face. It wasn’t fair to her. But life isn't fair, the world isn't fucking fair, and at the very least, she can’t believe that they’ll be staying together for five days on the boat, no destination, no obligations. &nbs

Part 48. Casual Friends
/Tristans POV/  Tristan had fallen asleep on his back, in the middle of his own mattress. That should have kept him away from wandering, right? Apparently not. When he woke up, he’s lying on his side, with a mouthful of hair, and his dick pressing uncomfortably against the front of his boxers. It's too hot. He could feel heat thrumming through him; his hair damp on the back of
