Lakota's POV I hated seeing her so scared. I don't know why I felt the way I did about her. One minute all I want to do is protect her and the next I can't stand the sight of her. Something in me changes and it truly scares me.  When Lyle brought her to my pack telling me she was a rogue that needed to be watched, I had this urge to rip him to pieces. I never liked the Knight family but I couldn't say no to having her in my presence.  

Selene's POV "Lakota, calm down. I already know what you did to my daughter. She has moved on from it. She is with her mate, fighting her own battles as she learns to process what it means to become the next Moon Goddess." I explain sadly. Why is he still upset over something that has already been over with. "NO! You don't understand! She is in my pack, Selene! Something is wrong with me when I am awake. Esther Knight is at my pack and brought Zaraphine unconscious and she has been in the cells since. She is starving and Esther wants me to mate with her

Atticus' POV I left the cabin after Selene. I needed to shift, my anger was getting the best of me. 'How can she say we are not ready? How can she make that call? This is our mate! We have to protect her!" My wolf growls. 'If Selene won't tell us, then we will have to figure it out by ourselves. Let's run back to the pack and speak to Cain. He may know something.' I suggest. "Okay." He agrees, and I take off running towards my packhouse.  

Atticus' POVI called upon my best warriors and trackers and explained to them that their Luna was being held captive and we needed to travel to witch mountain. Immediately they all went into a panic and began throwing out questions. "Where is she?" "What does Witch Mountain have to do with our Luna being held captive?" "Are the witches coming for our pack?" "Is she at Witch Mountain?" Their fear and worry came rushing through the pack link. "ENOUGH!" I yelled. "The person that has her is working with the witches. We must find her talisman and destroy it so we can get to her without having to worry about magic." I explained. My best top fighter, Jax stepped forward from the crowd and questioned, "How do you know that a wolf is working with the witches to hold Zaraphine?" Atticus POV 'What is going on? What is she talking about?' My wolf questioned me. 'I'm not sure but we will find out. If Jax says that she can see into people's minds then I believe him.' I explained. "Now let me see your hands, Alpha. " Tony said with a small smile on her face. I placed my large hands into her small pale ones before she said, "Now, close your eyes and open your mind. Release every bad feeling you have in your mind. I need your mind blank for this." I did as she said and cleared my mind of Zaraphine, Esther, and the pack. "Good. Now, I will show you what I have seen in Kira's head." She said in almost a whisper.
