Atticus POV
'What is going on? What is she talking about?' My wolf questioned me. 'I'm not sure but we will find out. If Jax says that she can see into people's minds then I believe him.' I explained. "Now let me see your hands, Alpha. " Tony said with a small smile on her face. I placed my large hands into her small pale ones before she said, "Now, close your eyes and open your mind. Release every bad feeling you have in your mind. I need your mind blank for this." I did as she said and cleared my mind of Zaraphine, Esther, and the pack. "Good. Now, I will show you what I have seen in Kira's head." She said in almost a whisper.

Zaraphine's POVIt's been a few days since anyone has come down to the cells. It's been pretty peaceful, I can catch up on sleep. Anytime I get visitors they hit and kick me to keep me awake. I can no longer feel the presence of my wolf. Ever since Lakota told me I would be mated to him, I felt her slowly fading away. I just hope she is at peace. The day I met my wolf I have done nothing but cause her grief and heartache, so it makes me kind of happy knowing she is no longer with me. I never wanted to put her through so much.

Lakota's POVOnce I opened my eyes, I immediately regretted it. Snapping them back closed, protecting myself from the blinding lights above. I could hear the constant beeping noise to the right of my head which was making my headache worse. I wiggled my fingers and toes making sure I was still in one piece when I hurled the hushed whispers. I tried to block it out the best I could but it was no use. As it started getting louder my anger started to rise, causing me to bark my order, "SHUT UP AND LEAVE MY ROOM NOW!" The voices stopped for a few minutes before there was shuffling and the click of a door being closed.

Atticus' POVWith a huff, I gave a nod and followed Lakota and this strange woman into the packhouse that I once grew up in. I stopped quickly and called behind me, "Leo come with me and everyone else stand down unless I say otherwise." In unison, I received, "Yes Alpha."
