Touching, soothing and warm
Lily looked around Mark’s room. “He has such an opulent life. What it feels like to be born in a royal family, I wonder!!” muttered Lily. She saw a velvet colored royal wingback chair. “I guess he will take time. Till then I can feel how does it feel to sit here?” she mumbled and quickly went towards it. She rested herself on it. “Wow, it is so soft. I might get a sleep in just a minute, sitting over it. Wait, where is my phone? I should click a selfie.”She searched for her phone in her pockets but could not find it. “Huh… where did it go?” she murmured and recalled when she turned the flashlight on, she in fear dropped it as Mark touched her shoulder. “Oh no!! What if someone is calling me? I have to go back to the hotel.” She almost got up from that chair when Mark walked inside and his eyes fell on Lily who was sitting on the chair. They both stared at each other for a few seconds when Lily su

A fallen Angel
“Come from heart?” Mark questioned with a raised brow. Lily nodded and put her hand down. “No one can teach you things like this. You have to feel on your own,” Lily stated. Mark averted his gaze from her and then put a thought over it. “By the way, can I ask something?” Lily questioned.Mark turned his gaze again on her. “Yes, please,” voiced Mark. “How much will it cost to make a house in a place like this by someone?” Lily asked him. “Umm… Ms. Evan, The Woods is a restricted region. The region is only for some of the Royal families of Scotland. Foreign intrusion is not acceptable so, I am afraid that someone cannot purchase any land here.” Mark explained to her which did not please Lily. “Why only some of the people have access to this area? Isn’t this discrimination?” Lily muttered and huffed. Mark faintly smiled

Shall I bite him?
“I am going. There is nothing in this hotel. That soul might have escaped the instant it had seen you near Lily Evan,” opined Michael. Mark nodded and thanked him for coming. Michael then vanished in thin air.“A fallen angel?!” Mark murmured before living the Three Chimneys. He was now in the villa, in his room. His eyes fell on the wingback chair and he recalled how Lily was sitting there earlier. “Why am I thinking about that woman?” he wondered and went to the changing room, changed into his nightclotheses. Turning the lights off, he went to the bed and slid into the sheets.  There was dim yellow light glowing in his room. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling as he tried to take some sleep. Hours passed like that but sleep could not reach his eyes. He then took the lid of the bedside lamp in his hand and kept pressing it thus, turning it on and off. Unable to sleep, he sat at the bed and looked at the time.

Welcome to Hell, Lily!
“Lily,” Mark whispered the name as he saw in front of him. But wait her eyes were closed and she was standing straight in front of him when he noticed the other thing- he was holding her hand. Immediately, he released her hand when she fell but Mark caught her. “Lily, Lily,” Mark called out her name as he patted on her soft cheeks, lightly. He sat on the grassy ground, holding Lily. He looked around and found the fog was clear. He was again in the same place. “Did I sleepwalk again? But what is Lily doing with me this time? How come I held her hand and took her here?” Mark wondered. Lifting his right hand, Mark joined the two fingers together and placed it at Lily’s forehead, the place between her brows. But he was failed to see the memories. Not one but entire memories of Lily were blocked, he could not see anything. “Why am I not able to see her memories?” Mark murmured. He looked around a

Presence of another woman
“I am fine, Lily,” Mark said softly. Lily released his hands and then got up. “I must leave. I have troubled you a lot. Forgive me for that,” Lily asserted, lowering her eyes. A door knock interrupted the two when Mark stood up and told Lily to sit on the couch because he would drop her home. Mark went to the door and opened it. “Serena, you here? This early?” Mark asked with a surprising look and let her came in. Serena stepped inside and saw at a far end near the bed Lily. “What is she doing here?” Serena asked Mark. “We were talking about something,” Mark replied her and then looked at Lily who came towards them. She forwarded her hand towards Serena to shook hands with her but Serena ignored her and turned to Mark. “Mark, I do not like the presence of another woman in your room. Hope you will understand,” Serena stated. Lily felt somewhat bad upon hearing those words. She took back her hand. “Serena, you are taking us w

“Miss Evan, you should not speak this harshly with Mark. He knows better than you about his sister. You came to a very wrong conclusion that Mark does not spend time with Sarah,” Serena gave a reply to Lily instead of Mark.“I did not talk to you, Miss,” Lily said sarcastically. Emma slightly laughed upon hearing Lily’s words. But they did not notice that. Lily stood up from the couch and then looked at Mark. “Your sister just told me something which she should not tell me as I am an outsider,” Lily pronounced.Elizabeth intervened as she saw the atmosphere was heated up. “Mark, go to Sarah. You should not speak like that with your little sister,” Mark’s mother, Elizabeth told him and then turn to Lily. “Lily, could you tell us what Sarah told you?” Elizabeth asked her.Lily glared at Serena who was also glaring at her. “That his brothers and sisters don’t spend time with her,&rd

“Thank you for dropping me home,” Lily told David.“Mention not. It was nice knowing about you, Lily. Take care,” David told her and drove away. Lily went to the door and inserted the password on it and went inside. She sat on the mini couch of the living room, stretching her arms out and resting her head on the headrest.“It was so tiring,” Lily murmured. Ten minutes later, she went to her room and then laid down on the bed, on the support of her belly. Sleep took over her and she again fell asleep.“Umm… who is ringing the door bell? Max, open the door,” Lily mumbled in sleep. Every one minute, the bell kept on ringing which irritated her. She opened her eyes and then went downstairs to open the door. Opening the door, she saw Mark and her little sister Sarah at the door.“You were not opening the door s-so”“-so I kept ringing it. Lily, were you sleeping? Your hair are mess

Mesmerizing
“You are really a good cook, Lily.” Sarah complimented Lily as three were done eating. “I am happy you liked the food. Ahh, there is one more thing,” Lily said when Mark told Lily to sit there. “I will bring it.” Saying that Mark stood up and went to the kitchen.“Brother really cooked with you? I am seeing him first time cooking something. I am amused,” muttered Sarah when Lily asked her, “Did Mark never cook at home?” “No,” replied Sarah. “Then how did he know about that?” Lily muttered. “I think he used to cook when he was in the Netherlands,” answered Sarah. Lily gave a nod. “I am coming,” Lily said and went to the kitchen. “Is it still baking?” Lily asked Mark. “Yes. A few minutes more and it will be done,” Mark replied. “Could you please pass me a plate?” Mark asked Lily who forthwith, went to the cabinet made on the walls and opened it. The cabinet was at a good height and she wasn’t able to take th

Let's Break Up!!
Standing in Lily’s balcony Mark kept an eye on her. Lily had some papers in her hands and she was reading them. She might have to prepare report for the next day, Mark thought. He made sure that Lily did not come outside else it was going to be tough for him.Lily opened the word and started preparing the report. “What did I think for me and look, what am I doing? Instead of reporting, I am making reports for the other reporters,” complained Lily to herself. Mark was listening all her talks from the balcony.“Why did he even appear on that particular day only?” Mark asked Lily saying to herself. “But I was lucky that I did not throw out by the Editor-in-chief. I still have a chance to rise as a reporter and then I have to make my dream true that’s to report with my ideal Reporter,” Lily said as she rested her head on the chair’s headrest.“So, this is her third dream? I should have told that day not to

The President apologized from Lily as Mark warned him. Mark then spoke, “Miss Evan knows my family really well after that incident. My little sister was being adamant on going out with Miss Evan. I also went with them to the theme park. Issue this statement. Rest will be handled by my manager so, you do not have to worry about that.” The President gave a nod and told Lily to leave. Lily stood up from the sofa chair and left the cabinet. Mark turned to look at the President. “I happened to find that Miss Evan was being shifted from Department of Reporters. Please send her back there. I believe that day incident had only increased your news station TRPs,” Mark pronounced. “I will do that, Mr. Scott. Is there anything else you want to-” Mark cut those words in the middle. “No, I am done. Please continue with your good work,” Mark asserted and got up from the sofa. The President too stood up as a gesture of respect. Mark buttoned his blazer and moved ahead. “You
