The silence at the back of his car makes me feel a little awkward. Beta Matias is the one driving the wheels and sitting beside him is Hadil while me and the Alpha are behind them. I made sure I'm sitting closer to the window than it is to him,while he just sat there with unreadable expression in his face. He had on an impenetrable dark sunglasses that's covering his eyes. Last time i saw them it's gold and fiery. I wonder how does it look by now. I'm not sure for how long i was staring at his angle until he asked.

Alpha Jack was nowhere inside the luxury room when i came out of the bathroom, three hours have passed like it was nothing. I searched for something comfortable to wear because I'm planning to just sleep the rest of the flight away. I settled with my signature striped cotton blended pajamas from my luggage.

*Carmela's POV* The feel of Alpha Jack's hand under my elbow while we're going down the stairs of the private plane is giving me light shivers. Because I can't help but get nervous about being brought here at the wolves lair but somehow I thought Jack would protect me. I gasped in surprised when i saw the group of people waiting for our arrival. 

I went out of the bathroom feeling cleaned and refreshed, when the sight of more than a dozen dresses inside the room surprised me. They were elegantly hanged in two rails with Cory and Claire standing on the side.

As we go back to the huge hall, a long table was already placed in the front with three of the servants standing closed by. There sat King Darius and Alpha Prince Jack sitting in both ends poised and dominating. Beta Matias is also sitting with them at Jack's left side while Maleficus is at King Darius left beside Princess Jasmin. Three seats were empty which I'm sure of the two, one for me and the other for Queen Helen. I noticed that the Royal people of the pack are also sitting in the chairs having their own tables full of food and drinks. Servants are busy.
