Fikayo adjusted the powder on her face as they walked out of the class. Ibukun checked her wristwatch and squinted at the amount of sun rays attempting to enter her eyes.“Almost everyone is going” Blessing said as they walked into the bus.“It’s unusual for Lashe to schedule his concerts in the evening what do you think caused it?” Fikayo asked and Ibukun shrugged.“He’s in university now. He has to manage his time and his lecture time varies as well; this time might be when he has time or the most convenient” Ibukun replied and Fikayo smiled.“Sometimes they way you talk about him makes me think like you are in his head” Fikayo said and Blessing burst into laughter while Ibukun smiled and looked outside the bus window as the bus began to move. The event centre was filled to brim and students in different uniforms dominated the places. Different press officers could be seen making videos and reports.Lashe was a sensation not just in t

Lashe’s jaw dropped as he watched the Tv. After his concert, he had skilfully escaped from the jaws of the newsmen and reporters that were crowded at the centre but he soon noticed a video had gone viral. At first, he was planning to ignore it but he soon noticed he was getting tagged like crazy and tags like; Lashe’s biggest fan, the love of a fan and bla bla bla started trending on twitter and he was stupefied when he opened the Tv and watched Ibukun’s interview. His manager shook his head as he continued watching. Lashe had recognised Ibk the moment he had seen her. He was flabbergasted at the turn of events. Toluwanimi had always gisted him there and here about her sister crazy love for him and he had always laughed and said that she was childish but as he listened to her; inexplicable joy and happiness filled every corner of his heart to the brim.“She’s really a big fan” Lashe’s manager said and Lashe nodded.“Uncle Sam, how far as this video gone on so

Tolu turned to her saviour and got a better look at his features. He was chocolate complexion with brown eyes hidden behind his glasses. He had a rather straight nose and high cheekbones. He was attractive even with his glasses that gave him the vibe of a professor. He had a straight and lean body but Tolu knew he was strong. He was cloaked in black pants and a shirt tucked roughly in but yet extremely attractive. He slipped one of his hands into his pockets and Tolu’s eyes returned back to his face. He was handsome. So handsome that Tolu found out that she couldn’t peel her eyes off him. The guy raised an eyebrow at her that brought her back to her senses.Tolu awkwardly coughed inwardly cursing for her extremely light complexion that made her embarrassment so obvious. She threw her head sideways trying to regain and composure and didn’t see the small smile that crawled up the guy’s face. Tolu swallowed her saliva as she turned to him.“Thank you for that. How wil

Ibukun didn’t know the magic Lashe worked on her, she felt extremely comfortable with him and talked more comfortably with him. It was more like they were old friends who met up to talk.“I’ll be honest with you. I was sincerely overwhelmed when I saw the interview you did” Lashe said and chuckled.“I felt like my music career did have a purpose when I watched you talk. Thank you. thank you so much” Lashe said and Ibukun nodded with a pout.“I just answered her questions. I did nothing more than that” Ibukun replied and Lashe chuckled.“I’m a person of few words that’s why I don’t know how to express myself but I am really, really, really grateful. Your interview helped me secure a contract I didn’t even think I was gonna get” Lashe said and Ibukun’s eyes sparkled.“Really?” Ibukun asked and Lashe nodded.“Yeah” Lashe replied with a smile.Ibukun already knew long ago that Lashe was not a person of many words. The way he spoke to his fans, h

Ibukun turned over in her bed as she replied Lashe’s text. That had been her routine for the past one week. She rushed home and chatted with Lashe all night long. The first time they chatted into the night was the day they met. She had thanked him for the pictures and ended up talking more.None of them realized that it was already past one am until Lashe claimed that he wanted to check the 10’0 clock news and was flabbergasted to see that it was already past one am.Both of them had forced each other to sleep that day and that was how it started. The long calls, hours texting and video calling.Ibukun burst into laughter seeing the emoji Lashe sent in reply to her message. She had discovered that Lashe could talk as much as he wanted as long as he found the right partner and he was comfortable with them.Ibukun’s door opened and Tosinmile strode in to catch a silly smile on Ibukun’s face. She chuckled before kicking Ibukun who was about to make a voice note.
