Slowly Falling (2)
- The group - Peter was dashing around, trying to get as many kills with his remaining seconds. The scared and hesitant enemies that remained were easy prey. Peter's was holding his breath the entire time. He knew the moment his timer was up he would collapse. If his outward expression showed how his body felt internally no one would be afraid of him. While Peter was ripping through her allies, Yukina was charging towards the other five. Her mana reserves were getting low, so she decided to get closer before using anymore magic. She was confident she could finish off four humans, and a half vampire with just her sword. Sabu was watching Yukina approach. He still had mana to spare and would make sure to finish what Peter started. He rushed towards Yukina, knives in both hands, and threw them while boosting their speed with wind. Yukina intercepted the attack by swiping the knives

Recovery (1)
- Yvere and Death - Once all the enemies were confirmed dead or gone Death turned back into his usual form. His body was riddled with third degree burns and his robe was more burnt holes than cloth. Yvere rushed to help, but Death stopped her. "I'm at no risk of dying. Help your team first." Sabu and Elijah had recieved minor healing from Yvere. She wanted to restore them completely but they both argued that Lucifer would probably need more attention than both of them. She felt frustrated that everyone seemed to deny her help. She knew why, but she couldn't stand watching everyone, covered in injures, act tough. 'Maybe it's an age thing. Then again, Elijah's younger than me.' After all of that was sorted, Death and the others went to where Lucifer had crawled under the rubble. Yvere was carrying Lao, while Death carried Peter, and Heinrich carried Mira. As th

Recovery (2)
- Lucifer - "Is that everyone?" Lucifer asked Mira. "Yes. I swear. Please...leave them be. They aren't problems for you." Mira's voice was shaking. Lucifer sighed and looked around at everyone. "You know that's not true. As much as we both wish things were peaceful, our kind is vindictive." Lucifer's eye were melancholic. I have no plans to march into Heaven looking to collect heads." Lucifer looked over at Elijah. "Hand me the dagger." Mira flinched. She knew this was it. Elijah handed the dagger to Lucifer. "Catch." Lucifer told Mira, tossing the dagger to her. Mira didn't understand what he was doing. "You attempted to kill me and my team. Under normal circumstances I would just slit your throat myself, but this is a more severe situation."

Hunger and Sunlight
- Sabu - "Back in my past life, when I was still a child, I was an orphan who lived with other orphans." Elijah, despite how crowded his thoughts were, made a point to listen. He leaned in as Sabu spoke. "We were not being raised in an orphanage by some kind owner. We were being raised for a future of killing. Beatings, food denial, and practicing the most efficient ways to kill a target. That was our daily lives." As Sabu got deeper into his past his expression would stiffen. "There was a week, maybe two, where we had gone without food entirely. Certain parts of the memory are hazy. The faces of the other children, the time, even what I looked like, but there is one part that has stayed clear in my mind." Sabu began rubbing his arm slowly. "We had been told that the end of our fast would be a special day. None of us believed it to be anything good. We had be

Heliopolis (1)
- Death and Lucifer - Nephthys and Death spoke the entire ride to the center of Heliopolis. Death didn't tell her about the past battle and instead opted to talk about more trivial things. ["I hope you enjoyed the barrel. I know Ra values your opinion on it."] ["It was great as usual. I hope I can see Bes as I travel through to thank him."] ["I had hoped you would stay a little while. You rarely come through these parts."] Nephthys pouted. Death made an awkward laugh. 'Has it really been that long since I've traveled north?' He wondered. The buildings of Heliopolis came into sight and Nephthys rode ahead of the group, waving goodbye as she went. Heliopolis was a large city with various golden looking buildings, some of which reached to the sky. The ground went from sand to sandstone and the sound of merchants selling

Heliopolis (2)
- Elijah - Elijah was in awe at the inside of the palace. It was many times the size of the vampiric castle. Ra stopped talking to Death and walked up to him. He had expected this. The guide mentioned many times that Ra found great interest in reborn. He started preparing what to say in his head. ["I see you're impressed with my home little lesser. I hope you don't feel too intimidated."] Elijah waited until the translator spoke before responding. "He said he notices how impressed you are and hopes you don't feel intimidated." "Thank you for the hospitality lord Ra." Elijah bowed. The man next to Ra translated, causing Ra to make a booming laugh. ["I need no thanks for something so basic. Don't fear casual speak with me. A friend of Death's is a friend of mine. I'm not prone to acts of wrath like the Olympians."]

Heliopolis (3)
- Lucifer - Everyone was given various dishes and drinks. No one was hungry so the portions were small. Lao had a large piece of meat covered in a gray skin while Yvere had a pint of foul-smelling blood. Lucifer stood up and requested to speak to Anubis while Death continued talking with Osiris. 'Why would you start the conversation with Anubis?' Death wondered. The two walked to a separate room of the palace. Lucifer made the excuse that he didn't want to ruin everyone's meals with what he wanted to talk about. ["Did something happen that I should be aware of?"] Lucifer quietly asked. "We can talk in the human tongue. I only use the other language because Ra prefers not needing translations." Anubis's voice grew deeper. "I need to discuss with your lord. I assume there wouldn't be any problems if I give you the message?" Anubis gave a wa

Crossing the Moloch Line
- Death and Lucifer - The two didn't speak to each other. They got into their usual positions and the group silently left Heliopolis. The silence made both worry about the other. 'He didn't ask me any questions?' Death wondered. 'I guess he thinks I'm worried about the Moloch line. Not wrong, just not my main concern.' Lucifer thought. The ride would have looked peaceful on the outside. Everyone was quiet, thinking about their own positions. The uništi moving slower through the sand didn't help. Lucifer decided to just enjoy the faux peace. He liked the dessert scenery for its simplicity. He stared out at the stretching sands and thought about how he should approach the subject of an underworld alliance. Death hated the sand. He found it reminded him of unpleasant moments from his past. He also didn't like the uništi's reduced speed in the envir

Healthy Argument
- Death and Lucifer - The sound of metal clashing seemed to echo through the night time air. Every swing of Death's scythe lifted Lucifer off the ground when he blocked. Everytime Death closed in Lucifer would shoot flames from the sword. The two held each other off without making any progress. Lucifer slammed his sword against Death's scythe and caused the flames on the blade to roar stronger. Death didn't struggle to push Lucifer off of him. He swung his scythe around his body, knocking Lucifer back. He pursued and attempted to bring the scythe blade-side down on Lucifer's shoulder. Lucifer blocked the heavy attack, his feet sinking into the ground as he did. The scythe's blade was to his back. He knew what would come next. Death pulled his scythe to him. Lucifer ducked his shoulder under the blade and ran towards Death. Peter was watch

Different Reports
- Death - Death decided to call Zach to get an update on the current locations of the grim. "Dahlia's group is in the east by Sun's territory. Yuri's is in the neutral zone between R'lyeh and the orc territory. Oliver is still near the unknown in Passage. The secondary-teams haven't spotted anything unusual. They all seem to be fine." Zach reported. "Yuri once again apologizes for not being in Sol by the way. I keep telling him it's fine, I'm sure eventually he'll listen." Death had originally stationed Yuri's team in Sol. He later moved them after thinking that Sol was peaceful enough. "He understands I'm the one who ordered him to move right? Vázoluna seemed peaceful, so I decided to shift their team to a more active area." "I know, I've told him plenty of times. He's convinced it's his fault. I am curious though, why did you want another update so s
