"Good Morning, my love." My eyes slowly opened to Claire's beautiful face inches away from mine. I frowned while she smiled, her hand softly grazing my bearded cheek."This is not real." I mumbled but she inched closer, crossing her leg around my waist. Tears started to grace my eyes again and her smile gradually vanished."What's wrong?" She whispered but I kept on staring at her with teary eyes. This wasn't real, none of it."Why do you keep punishing me? You and I both know this is a dream. I don't want to see you Claire, yet you appear to me every morning." I mumbled after minutes of hesitation. She wore an endearing smile, running her fingers through my long mess hair."I'm not punishing you." She said. "You and I both know, a part of you wants to see me. You crave me Kevin and that's why your subconsciousness is doing this." She added. "This beautiful morning, this room, us, this is what you want. Yet you keep denying it.""I can't have you."

"On the twelfth of this month,"  were the beginning words of an elder as he climbed the podium of Moonsville Supreme Court. And there was my mate, by the right of the podium. Bounded in silver chains with dried blood from his injuries. His clothes were tattered and dirty. His head were bowed to the ground as his arms went above his head from the chains holding him. His knees stood against the rough concrete floor and his messy hair overshadowed his face so one couldn't look closely. But I knew, from the mate bond. He didn't care. He was neither furious nor in pain. He was just silent. Silent ever since he had been arrested."Kevin Manchester, Alpha of Greenville, killed the Lycan." The old man continued on a solemn note. "To achieve this atrocious crime of his, he compelled the boundaries guards with his powers and even the guards at the Pack House." He paused his lips as he glanced at barely conscious Kevin. It wasn't with hatred but compassion."The cour

"Kevin is going to be the new Lycan.""Father, I implore you to rethink your decision." I had said while he turned to me, his predatory look already replaced with care and admiration. "Kevin never wanted to be Alpha let alone be Lycan. I'm not sure he's the right --""He is the Wolf of Justice, Claire. The moon goddess chose him for a reason and this is it." He pursed his lips."Are you doing this out of guilt or pity or because he his simply the Wolf of Justice and nothing more to you?" I asked while my Father heaved a sigh as he joined me back on the bedside."If it were out of guilt, I would have given him wealth, power and any other thing he desires. I'm not making Kevin the new Lycan because of guilt nor because he's a special Wolf." He paused as his gaze returned to my mother's portrait. He carried a smile I couldn't quite depict but I knew he was in deep thoughts. Thinking of the right words."Ever since your mother's death, I al

The tweeting of birds, a familiar honey scent and the comfort of a bed slowly brought me back to life.   My eyes faintly opened to a room illuminated by the sun rays coming from the window above me. The bed was different. It was larger than mine and the bed sheets were a spotless design of velvet green. It was exactly in sync with the colour of the large room. A spotless shade of green. I didn't know this room yet it felt so welcoming and peaceful.   Series of sparks emanated from my bare chest and spiralled across the rest of my body. It forced me to look down and there I saw her pretty fingers. Laying peacefully on my tattoo. My eyes briskly darted to my side, and there she was, my beautiful mate staring at me deeply.   I turned towards her and my hand wrapped across her bare waist. I didn't care as to how we were naked or how I arrived here, in her room. All I cared for was her. She was safe and so was I. Even though she didn't w
