Lahat ng Kabanata ng His Billionaire Wife?: Kabanata 181 - Kabanata 190

Nikhat"I'm really sorry, Mia", I tell Mia as she packs up her stuff. "I didn't know my parents would show up like this. Otherwise—""It's okay", she chuckles. "It's my problem that I can't stay around new people. This lodge room is big enough. And I have told Irtaza to arrange a place for me"I mildly smile at her gesture. I was even left stunned when Abbu and Ruzina showed up here. I can sense there must be some reason but I don't really wanna be too mean to ask that. They might be here only to visit me. I think that could be a good reason. The last time I talked to abbu wasn't pretty good.Just then, Mia's phone rings and she picks up."Yeah. It's Ushna Ilyas", Mia says. "Yes. I'm confirming the lease. Thank you"She cuts the call and smiles at me. "Told you. Irtaza managed it within just twenty minutes. He's faster than any bullet train""But it's too late, Mia. How will you go alone?" I ask, looking out of the window."Don't worry. I—"Mia gets interrupted by the doorbell."I kn

KaifI returned to the resort after roaming near the alley for almost an hour. As far as I remember around that time Nikhat comes to her balcony. I have been going there at the same time every night just for the small eye to eye meeting with no words— only eye contact and smiles. Today she didn't come. I'm somehow disappointed. To get rid of the anxiety, I lie on the bed and look over at the ceiling. Then I close my eyes for a while to sleep. But I can't. I keep changing positions to sleep. I think it has become a regular habit for me.I jump off the bed and breath heavily for a while, looking straight at the wooden floor. What am I doing? That was not a plan. I wasn't supposed to get used to her again. Loving is a different thing. But being used to a person is another thing. I know if I keep doing this, things are gonna be even tough for me when I would leave. I get on my feet and come out of my room, walking through the lobby. Sleep has literally broken all the ties with me ever s

KaifI know things are going out of my hands but it's high time to pick my broken self up and fix them.I also know that it won't be easy to fix myself. I'm gonna lose it again. But this time I'll try to be as positive as possible. While thinking about all this my phone buzzes. I pick it out of my pocket and look at the screen. Surprisingly, it's Nikhat. I sigh and stare at the screen. How am I gonna handle myself when she's around? Anyway, why is she calling me at this hour? I hope everything is fine. I didn't find her on the balcony either. Concerned, I pick her phone up. "Hey", I beam, wiping all the anticipation away. I don't want her to ask unwanted questions."Hi", her voice is low and sluggish. As I feel myself lost again in her deep voice, I don't even realise she might be waiting for me to say something."I hope I didn't wake you up", she adds before I can say anything. Her voice is shaking slightly as if she's nervous about how to say something. "No. I wasn't sleeping",

Author's POVRuzina walks back into the lodge with a burden of thoughts in her head. She turned her sister down, making false excuses and it's now clear to her that she wants Nikhat to get married to Irtaza as soon as possible.Ruzina doesn't have any children which are why she has always been insecure about her life further since Ridwan has already been retired. Nikhat grew up as a beautiful woman over time and she knew Nikhat could be the medium to solve all her insecurities. She wanted to control her life and trade her as an investment always. That was why she manipulated Ridwan against Abrar since he was not rich enough. She forced Nikhat to get married to Hasan Malik— a citizen of the UK to ensure she gets enough profit out of Nikhat's marriage. She was indeed getting it from Hasan. Even when Nikhat informed them about Hasan's second marriage— he

Nikhat"Nikhat!" He whispers my name but I don't look up. I feel him holding my hand tightly and I hold the edge of the bench. Then I sense him decreasing the gap between us. He uncovers my face, lifting my hair from my cheek and tucking them behind my ear. I can feel him staring at me which makes me blush harder. "Look at me", he leans down to my ear and whispers. I squirm with his warm breath fanning my skin. As I don't respond to his words, he lifts his hand to me and slides two of his fingers across my jaw, slowly nudging my face towards him. I finally look up at him. Our eyes meet. He smiles, peering at me as if he's scanning each detail of my face. I had never been so comfortable with anyone's gaze the way I'm with him. It seems to be pure and peaceful. Most importantly, I love it. He locks his hand with mine and gets closer to my face. Enough closer which forces me to drop my gaze in shyness. "Why do you always steal your gaze from me?" He whispers. "I want you to look
