Two more weeks passed, Nathaniel was all better and we had almost arrived in Kingspin. When we were setting up camp, Merlin and I went to collect firewood and we found ourselves in front of the same wolf that had tried to attack us earlier in the journey. I turned to run away, but Merlin stopped me and pointed to its leg. It was injured. It had an arrow in its left hind leg and couldn’t walk or move for the matter.

I was the hero that we were looking for. The person who was destined to unite Pasiphae was me. But how was that possible? Why me? Nathaniel asked why Merlin the map led us to Kingspin even though I was right there the entire time, and he said two things. 

After Merlin left, I became a ticking time bomb, but somehow in the midst of my mid-life crisis, I managed to convince George, Donatello, and Joan to let us stay for a few more days. I convinced myself that he would come back to teach me because I was the “hero.” I was special. He knew of my power and potential. He couldn’t just leave me there! 

When Merlin was a little older than I, he went to Camelot to live with his mother’s friend: the court physician, Gaius. That’s where he met the ancient dragon, Kilgharrah, who told him of his destiny. Merlin was meant to help King Arthur unit

We continued our journey, and I kept trying to find the perfect time to ask them, but there was never a good time. At one point, George started an argument on the right way to cut sandwiches and it split the group into teams, with Arthur and I as the spectators. George and Nathaniel were affirmative in the resolve which states sandwiches should be cut into triangles. Joan, Donatello, and Nara opposed stating that sandwiches should be cut straight down the middle for the most efficiency.
