“I DID WHAT?” I gaped at Caleb who seems to be having a hard time dealing with me.  “Do you know the BJ word that I mentioned?” He scoffed and embarrassingly hit the stirring wheel. “Tsk! It’s impossible for you not to know what that is.”

DUSK DIDN’T WENT OUT of her room after our argument this morning. I’ve been knocking on her door but she’s not answering. I thought that maybe she was still cooling herself off. But if that’s the case, then it means that she really likes Caleb. There wasn’t much to do so I planned to go to the store and help Mom and Pops since I can’t sleep but they suddenly went home with their eyes squinting.  

“I NEVER MEANT TO lie to you. I just didn’t want you to get mad at Dusk.” I wiped my tears dry. “Caleb and I met when I confronted him on set – thinking that he was the one bullying Dusk.” “Was he?” Pops curiously asked.

I SMILED WHEN I heard Caleb’s nervous voice. He must have been surprised since he reacted that way. Was it too sudden for me to say it?  After giving it a serious thought, I decided to explore this feeling a bit further. I’d like to let myself out from the barricade I’ve made a long time ago and see how far Caleb and I can go.

MY DAY STARTED WITH Caleb and it ended with him too. I can’t explain how happy I am for being with him today. I can’t remember the last time I was able to go out on a date so it was a bit awkward at first. But knowing Caleb, I later on spent the day with him with ease.  We happily rode a bike in Burnham Park and had a fun time rowing a boat on the lake. It was actually my first time doing it so I struggled paddling on my own. Caleb kept laughing at me when the boat just kept going around in the same area but I didn’t care since I love hearing him guffaw like a kid.
