Lahat ng Kabanata ng Bar Mon'tblank - The power of an opportunity: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Although he had spent most of the previous night awake, Carlos was that morning with a very good disposition and even with, a strange, good sense of humor, but as the afternoon fell, his attitude gradually changed. He wanted to entertain himself by taking care of various things that he had pending, but nothing worked. Annoyed, he returned home, turned off his cell phone so that no one would disturb him, took a couple of drinks lost in thought, and inadvertently, fell asleep sitting on the sofa.He saw himself running, very scared, behind a moving vehicle, trying to stop him … and as much as he screamed, there was so much noise in the street that they couldn't hear him. At some point, he was no longer running, but he was a passenger in the rear seats of the vehicle, he kept yelling at the driver to stop, but nobody seemed to notice him, not even the boy sitting nex

Sara realized that Brian's sister was the same woman with whom she had seen Carlos. Jazmin and Brian brothers? She couldn't believe it, although some things were beginning to make sense to her, remembering that the blond had mentioned a woman when he argued with her boss at the bar. She had become so absorbed, organizing her ideas, that she had to react soon and get out of her thoughts if she didn't want everyone to start looking at her strangely. She tried to raise her hand to introduce herself, but assumed, from the way Jazmin looked at her, that the woman had no intention of shaking hands, so she only greeted. In Sara's mind, this phrase was constantly repeated, ‘She is Jazmin, my sister and Carlos's wife’ But, he had told her she was his ex-wife. Why deny it, she was too bothered by the fact that he had not corrected the error. Or was there nothing

“Sara, look at me.”He spoke to her in a soft voice, but she wasn't brave enough to hold his gaze, her heart was pounding, the oxygen inside the room became insufficient, and her nervousness worsened every time she remembered how obvious it had been. She had given herself away like a fool in front of him. She needed to get out of that office before she continued to make mistakes and if he continued to looking at her that way, she was not going to be able to contain herself or hide everything that his closeness made her feel. She tried to confuse him in order to escape, but Carlos remained firm in his position and this time he was determined to ‘finish the task’, so he moved closer to Sara and gently, but firmly, he took her by the waist bringing her closer slowly, he caressed her cheek and with his thumb, he lightly brushed the corner of her lips, all while lo

During the rest of the week, the staff had noticed certain changes in Carlos' behavior but were unaware of what was happening. He maintained his strong character regarding standards compliance and quality work, but at the same time, his attitude was much more relaxed and even friendly. Sara had proposed him, almost begged, that things in the Mon'tblank continue the same, she thought that if some coworkers were already looking at her suspiciously since her sudden hiring, starting a relationship with her boss would not make things easier for her. At first, Carlos strongly opposed, since there was no reason to hide, but in the end, he ended up giving in on the condition that it only be for a few days, at least to give her time to assimilate things. And, although the relationship was at a very early stage, Carlos was happy and very much enjoyed Sara's company. It was clear that this time, he would take the time and think t

He began to feel bad, so much so that, without realizing it, a couple of tears appeared and ran down his cheeks, this time he did not try to hide them, after a long time, he allowed himself to be weak. So much uncertainty hurt him … it really did. **«»** When he returned to the Mon'tblank, it was very obvious that everyone was intrigued, even more, when they did not see Sara return with him, the comments and gossip increased, which he completely ignored. Jean Pierre, who had been worried and nervous about what had happened, when he saw Carlos's hurt look and his red eyes, knew that everything was wrong, for a moment he wanted to ask him but quickly realized that it was not the time. He would be more helpful to his godson by giving him some privacy and tending things at the b
