Practising my abilities with Prince Kota was not as awkward as I thought it was going to be, he was pretty professional, not even bringing up what happened a month ago. And all his concentration was focused on making me better.      With his help, I improved a lot even though it was just our first day sparing together. And our session helped me get over the last remnant of uneasiness I felt after my session with Amelia this morning, her last statement still has me shook up. I mean, for a minute there I’d thought she had been referring to Miss Rosa.       Fortunately, as it turns out my supposed step-mother was someone my parents met in their junior year at the academy. “Alright, that should be enough for today.” Breathing heavily, I pull out of my thoughts when Prince Kota stops our training session.      Glancing his way, I straighten from my position and watch his retreating back

It’s Halloween and in celebration of the holiday, C&K’s most coveted group, Ladies-in-Waiting, had put together a school dance for students in the school’s ballroom. The holiday though ignored by me had put students in a good mood for weeks before its arrival.   Mostly because it means they get to have fun during the break, while most students had gone home for the holiday majority of the student population stayed back.     The only excitement in their life is the upcoming Halloween dance and, gossiping vigorously about me on Elemental splash. I haven’t stepped out of the cabin since Rae’s birthday, interacting only with Rae, my roommates, and the girls while ignoring everyone else.    I at least thought they understood my current need to live under a rock, but much to my annoyance, they dragged me here in disguise in the hopes to cheer me up and have me breathe in some fresh air.  &n

It’s Friday and this is my second time watching the jostling game... and my first time actually buzzing with anticipation.Today’s match is between the male fire elemental’s and male water elemental’s. Which means, both Devon and Prince Kota are going to be leading their teams. If the excitement over the girl’s games creates a hyperactive atmosphere, then you can just imagine how the boy’s game is going to be. Especially when Prince Kota is going to be leading his team for the first time since his arrival. Sitting in the large arena with Eva, Tamil, Lillian, Rae, Camille, and Tiffany, I feel a little uncomfortable. The combination constantly has eyes directed our way, particularly because Rae is sitting and socializing freely with defects.I’m practically sitting in the middle of the group and feel like screaming out in frustration when I-pads are sometimes directed our way. Thankfully, the captivation over us doesn’t last because the game soon begins

Seated in the auditorium beside Lillian, we wait for debate class to begin. The double doors sprung open and several eyes swivelled in that direction when someone cautiously stepped in, harsh whispers started to float around the room and I raise my head in curiosity.    Looking towards the direction people are staring at, I spot Tamil looking like a fearful deer amid predators. She bows her head to hide her teary eyes and quickly hurries to a seat closer to the stage.     Frowning, I raised my hand and was about to call out to her, but a light touch made me pause. I frown as Lillian shakes her head in disagreement.    “Is she okay?”    “It's Damien.” Lillian sighs, her eyes blazing with anger, but concern too.    She pinches the bridge of her nose before explaining. “He broke up with her just a few minutes ago. He was cheating on her with some other girl.”

The next day school went about as usual. People gossiped, still, but at least they gossiped less about me. Pretty much all the attention has deviated to Tamil, again. She had a little run-in with Prince Maximilian in the halls this morning, and much to the shock of everyone a very heated make-up out session ended the whispered argument between the two.Tamil refuses to talk about what caused the altercation in the first place, or why Prince Max practically devoured her mouth so possessively, and no matter how much Lillian and I press for answers she makes sure to change the topic and keeps her mouth zipped.Knocking on the door of the teacher's break room, I spot the man I’m looking for immediately and frown. Mr Fiddler is seated on a metal chair across the room, his attention on his tablet and brows pulled into a frown.“Can I help you?” A female teacher startled me by stepping closer, her confused expression turning to recognitio
