 She was tired. He could see the dark circles that were under her eyes still. The time in the hospital was not easy nor a vacation for her. He led her back to the couches and turned on the television so she could watch something as she rested. Life for the two of them was not going to be easy. He was working on that as well.  Gabe knew that the meal he had just had was probably one of the best he had in months. Bree was better than most chefs he knew, and she was so good with hardly anything.
