Lahat ng Kabanata ng Boyfriend for Sale: Kabanata 261 - Kabanata 270

For almost a month or so, Shantal drifted in and out of her consciousness, again, exactly just like what happened to her when she got her first breakdown followed by her robot's departure. At the same time, during the most part of that 'on and off sleeping phase', Shantal also happened to be engrossed in a specific type of dream which were consisted of nonetheless her past life, the present time as well as a few of those absurd moments she has no recollection of experiencing ever in her life. Basically, her dream was mostly regarding the life that she once used to have with Steve, who apparently was the first robot she happened to fell in love with way before she even got to meet Alex. However, unlike the same old dreams that she often usually had before, this time, it was kind of different; much like of a twist because instead of being teleported back in time and being forced to relive the events, which not to mention she dreaded to remember in the first place, Shantal thi

JODI's P o V   I was a bundle of nerves sitting at the passenger seat, while I let Harold to take over the steering wheel. With the state that I am in right now, I am not confident that I can make it to our destination safe; so I allowed him to drive us back to Alex's place instead as we were also pretty certain that there was no other place that Shantal would ever want to go than that alone.   At the same time,  I tried my best to convince myself that everything will go according to what we initially planned; that there was no way for Shantal to find out the truth. However, my gut feeling was telling me otherwise and as if my imagination was determined not to give me peace of mind, countless undesirable scenarios kept playing inside my head; these possibilities made me feel restless as they were in a constant replay in an endless loop by my mind that it did not take that long before my thoughts went into complete chaos

JODI's P o V When Harold took Shantal's body from my arms and picked her up, I was caught off guard. He no longer explained to me and started running back to where our car was and I saw Alex ran after him. Naturally, I also ran after them. We all hopped inside the car and make ourselves as small as we could; the car was already cramped with a total of four seats, let alone add another one unconscious body lying like a sack of potato over our lap. However, at this point, no one has the audacity to utter even a single word of complaint as we all knew well enough that we did not hot time for that. There was a life at stake and things escalated up to this point because of our own mistake. It was our collective wrong choice that led us all to this dreadful situation. Now, this was a matter of life and death and so we decided to speed up and drove off to the nearest hospital and it was a good thing that the place was not busy so as soon as we got there, th

JODI's P o V ~~~   A lot had happened ever since Shantal fell to her coma and when I said, 'a lot' I really mean it. Because there was indeed so much going on around her. The media went crazy as they were eager to cover her story. All of a sudden, everyone wanted a piece of my cousin; the public was basically dying to know more about what happened to Shantal Nordstorme.   The sudden news about an heiress of a big conglomerate that suddenly falls sick for no apparent reason took not only the business world but also the entertainment circle by storm and everyone was nothing but curious to know what was the reason behind all of it.   Of course, we tried to keep as much information as we could from the public and I must say, we were able to do a good job about it; the damage was mitigated to bear minimum. However, I was not able to escape the prying eyes of my cunning stepmo

MATHILDE's P o V ~~~~~     I fought hard the urge to roll my eyes when Jodi started acting out in front of me. Of all the places, she chose to confront me in public!   The audacity of this lass to turn her back on me after all the sacrifices I made for her... HOW UNGRATEFUL! I raised her as though she was my own child! Yet is this how she was going to repay the kindness I had shown her all these times???   From the current looks of it, it seemed that this stepdaughter of mine was willing to go against my words and crossed me for the sake of saving the face of her cousin. Is this why some say blood is thicker than water?   "Then allow me to talk to you sincerely just this once as well"   I deliberately straightened my back while I was at my seat as I said that. I also make sure to hold her gaze. At t
