"We can't go abroad once we were sued."Michael thought out loud when everyone else turned silent.Among all of them, Michael felt like he was the most pressured because not only there were his parents whom he has to look after and depended on him to survive; now that he was a working adult, his grandparents and other family members were also expecting more from him.He can't afford to lose his job, let alone say, became unemployed!"We deserved it." Rico, on the other hand, admitted the fact that they made a mistake and for that, he believed that it was only right for them to accept the repercussion of their action. But at the same time, he still could not help but feel saddened that all their hard earned effort just to be part of the cream team, pioneering the first robot innovation would just end up being thrown in the gutters just like that, over a single mistake that they had committed throughout their career. Who would have thought that

ALEX's P o V  In spite of everyone's disapproval, I still made my mind and started packing up some lunch. I was planning of going to Shantal's place today and bringing her these goods. At the same time, I would also like to use this opportunity to come and visit her as well. "I don't think this was a good idea." Harold told me when he realized what I was up to, and Jodi seconded her right away. "I could not agree more to Harold. Besides, there is no way you can make my cousin eat that." I am not sure if it was just my imagination but I think I saw disgust flashed on Jodi's face for a second as she eyed the fruit of my hard work.  But when I gave her expression a second look, it was no longer there as if it was only my eyes playing a trick on me. Also, when I heard her comment, I am not sure whether I should pretend like I did not notice anything

ALEX's P o V     At first,  I was hesitant to approached the gate. Not because I am afraid of being caught but because I was already starting to lose the hope that anyone would let me in.   Harold was right, this was not a good idea. The only thing I would get myself out from this was trouble. It must have been my emotion taking the better half of me. My desire to meet Shantal and see for myself that she was fine, clouded my rationality.   "Will they let me in after what I have done to their young miss?"   I thought out loud as I halted my steps. I was now standing  right before the entrance, unsure of what to do next when all of a sudden, I heard a faint click and a mechanical sound started to register on my ears as though some sort of machinery was activated. Not long after, the gate opened itself for me. Thus al

ALEX's P o V~~~  It only goes without saying that I felt so much relieved after learning that even Shantal's most trusted confidant was unaware of my identity. Butler John granted me entry right off the bat because he saw me as 'Alex the Robot', to which in return, worked to my advantage because I was allowed to have access to Shantal's place without worrying about being branded as trespasser once I got caught by someone loitering around. Likewise, since I already knew the every nook and cranny of the house and almost memorized it by heart, I no longer required any help to get where I wanted to go. As soon as I got inside, I no longer dally and headed straight to the kitchen so I could start unpacking the foods which I happened to bring with me. I took my leisure steps towards the dining hall. At the same time, I also linger

ALEX's P o V~~~  I was busy minding my own business at the kitchen when I got distracted by the sound of someone's footstep that was about to approach my location. There was high likely a chance for the other party to be Shantal, and I know it in my heart. But that did not stop me from going stiff when I confirmed that my intuition was spot on; the owner of the footsteps was indeed her. I stopped from what I was doing and dedicated my time, watching her walk with those little steps of her, one step at a time. Also, it was not that hard for me to notice the abnormality in her gait. Yet, weird enough, I still found this part of her to be adoring. 'Something must really have gone wrong with my taste lately.' I thought to myself when the idea of such fondness crossed my mind. At first, Shantal was oblivious of the presence of the un
