Lahat ng Kabanata ng If The Crown Fits: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Ren wrapped me in a fur blanket as he carried me back to the tribe. The devil’s root paste and a few other books were in the bag that he borrowed from the hut. SInce the dress that I was wearing became loose, Ren made sure to pin and tie the excess fabric of the dress so it wouldn’t fall. It was only a temporary outfit for me until we could find a smaller dress. That or a way to turn me back to normal. Along the way, I could not help but notice that Ren was stealing glances at me  with a look as if he was about to cry. I even saw him raising a hand like he was about to pinch my cheek, but I glared at him warningly. Wolf prince? More like the prince of simps. I slapped his hand away for the 4th time as we entered the village. “No!” Stupid werewolf. He’s still trying to pinch my cheek!

I was pretty shaken up at what I just saw that I was silent for a moment. The goosebumps at the back of my neck and on my arms didn’t go away even as I tried to rub them. Fical has the chalice and we accused the wrong person.“Come out now, little one. I think he’s gone.” I flinched as Ingka started to speak. At first, I thought that he was speaking to someone else, but then I saw through the gaps of where I was hiding that he was looking right at me. I stood up and shamefully looked at the ground. I don’t even know what I was supposed to say to him.I gulped as I slowly lifted my head and found the old man sitting peacefully on the ground with his back pressed against the wall. His hands were tied in front of him. We were separated by a bunch of bamboos that were be

“Hurry! Move!” We were scrambling on our feet in a panic that Nate, Ace, and I decided that it was fun to exit through the same door at the same time.“Admit it. Who gained weight!?” I demanded as I attempted to squeeze myself through the thin space.“YOU!” Both princes yelled at me while Ren was busy pulling at my hands.I let out a gasp at their words and suddenly I was three as Ren successfully freed me from the tight space. I crashed into his chest before I turned around to look at Nate and Ace, who were now fixing themselves. “You guys think I gained weight?”They ignored my question and started to move. I looked at Ren, who was the only prince who was still by my side. “I gained weight?”

I shoved Nate away from me as I rolled and jumped back. The princes and the others were now looking at me. “Get her!” Ace ordered as the princes all charged at me. Well, all of them after Ren gave my sleeping familiar to the chief. I don’t know how my body became so light, but I was able to avoid all of their moves and advances. I undid the belt from my dress and wrapped it over Nate’s eyes as I threw him over to Ren. Ace tried to grab me but I blocked him with my hand and side stepped so I could stand behind him. He turned back with a jab that I narrowly dodged.I paused, then pointed an accusing finger at him. “Hey! That looked like you really meant to hurt me.” I commented as I compared him to how the other two were moving. Ren and Nate prioritize to c

“Let me guess. Don’t make any sudden movements so it wouldn’t see us?” I whispered to Viex as I looked back at the forest monster that was now slowly making its way towards us.‘Woman, are you nuts!? That is a totem and not a snake! RUN!’ “Rude fox says run!” I told the princes and started running on ahead.‘The other way! Cross the river and head towards the forest!’I skidded to a stop and ran past the princes to cross the river. “Sorry, guys. Wrong way.” My feet splashed through the water and I had to raise Viex just so he wouldn’t get splashed with the water as well. I looked back, Custard was safely in Ren’s arms.
