Chapter 11: Sealed With A Kiss
Blossom's POV After leaving the principal's office and fetching my backpack from my locker, I walked out into the parking lot and saw Jevan standing next to his Extra-luxury Range Rover. He immediately caught the bruises on my knuckles and the sad look on my face. He came over, took my bag off my shoulder and pulled me into his arms. "Hey, are you going to be okay?"I shook my head no. "I'm suspended for two weeks. My mom is going to freak when she finds out. She have been tolerant of you, but me getting suspended, she's going to skin me alive." "I'm sure she will understand.""You don't know my mother." Jevan took me home and offered to stay with me until I told my mother about my suspension but I declined. I didn't want him getting caught in the middle of the fire I knew was coming. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mother putting a tray of barbeque wings into the oven. She was already dressed f

Chapter 12: Tell Me About It
Jevan's POV It has been one week since Blossom's suspension and school didn't seem the same without her, at least for me. There was just something about her that got underneath my skin and made me feel something completely different. Something I've never felt before. After school, I drove to Blossom's house. I knocked on the door when I got there and a sad looking Blossom opened it. "Hi. How are you?" I asked her, studying her face. "I'm fine." She rubbed her eyes after. "Were you asleep? Did I wake you?" She nodded yes. "Is your mom here?" She nodded no. "She already left for work." "Oh. Well I bought over your homework and assignments. I'll get out of your hair now so you can go back to getting some rest. Okay?" "Thanks, but there's something we have to talk about. Something that I saw. In your phone." I narrowed my eyes. "What's that?"&nb

Chapter 13: Anger Written In Red
Blossom's POV "Room Service," a voice called. Jevan stirred in the sheets before he got up and went to the door. He came back, pushing a food cart towards the bedroom. I sat up eagerly. I was hungry. "Allow me to serve you," he spoke with a smile as he handed me a plate of sweet potato pie and chicken on a bed of greens. "Oh my, this is better than I've anticipated," I said and continued to stuff my face. "Just wait until dessert." After the main-course meal, Jevan fed dessert to me. Ice-cream with chocolate coated strawberries on top, and when we were down to the last strawberry, he bit the bottom of it and moved towards my lips. I acted accordingly, biting and eating the other half until our bare lips met. His grey pair of eyes, along with his handsome face, was marveling at me. His soft lips sealed mine and the tip of his tongue led to the entrance I allowed. My heart raced. The butter

Chapter 14: When The Moms Meet
Jevan's POV I stormed through my bedroom and threw myself face down on the bed. Exhaling a loud sigh, I thought about Blossom and how she must be feeling right now all because of me. A single tear fell but was instantly soaked up by the bed sheets. A knock came on the bedroom door. I quickly looked up and saw my mother standing there with a concern look on her beautiful face. "Are you okay, sweetie?" she asked, coming closer to me and sitting beside me on the bed. I sat up and nodded. "You weren't here last night. Your father and I were worried. Where were you?" "I was out with Blossom. I took her shopping and then we went to one of aunt Emily's hotel. I should have called or text you. Time just caught up to us and we woke up this morning." "Sounds entertaining. But why are you sad now?" There was no hiding the sadness from my expression. "It's Blossom's mom. I got

Chapter 15: History Has It
Blossom's POV It has been two weeks later and my suspension was finally over. Although I found myself being enthusiastic about my return, I was hesitant on what else were in store for me at PHS. I walked through the halls like I did on the first day. Two weeks away from this place, felt brand new all over again. Nina and Sophia saw me almost immediately and break into a run towards me. On reaching, they crushed me into a tight hug. "O.M.G. You have no idea how much we've missed you," Nina said, wiping at her eyes as if she was actually crying. "It was like torture without you being here," Sophia added, "Don't ever leave us again." "I'll really try not to this time around," I told them and we went towards our lockers. Nina was healthy and was herself again, and she asked about the fight, and I described how it went down, she applauded me. "Sophia is right. I think it's about time someone s

Chapter 16: The First Argument
Blossom's POV I didn't confront my mother, instead, I was foused on my next class. It was Mrs. Smith's class and today was the day we had to complete our baby project with a presentation in front of the class. Jason was in my care. I walked through the halls and into the ladies washroom before class started. "Blossom! I saw you coming in here. You have to come see this!" Nina appeared and said while tugging at my arm. I gave in and followed her.Back out in the hallway, Brooke was making out with a guy. A guy that was clearly not a student here. A small crowd watched on as their lips swallowed each other's and the guy's hand went to Brooke's butt. "Eww. And you'll think that she got class. She is just disgusting," Sophia said as she joined us. "Who is he?" I asked. "His name is unknown but he's a college student and in his early twenties." "But why would she do this here? Isn't she trying to ge

Chapter 17: When The Pressure Arrives
Blossom's POV I checked the calendar on the wall in my bedroom. The previous weeks had disappeared rather swiftly, but now, time seemed to be standing still. Ever since my and Jevan's argument, he had been giving me the cold shoulders. I saw less of him and he was unhurried in calling and fixing things between us. "Maybe, it starts with me. After all, I was the one who started it and threw Brooke in his face when he wasn't in the mood of hearing about her." My blood ran cold as Brooke crossed my mind. She knew about my mother being my mother. I could only hope that she would leave me alone at school but being peaceful that wasn't a characteristic of hers. I finally rolled out of bed, took my shower and got ready for school. It was the start of another Monday and I already wanted it to be over with. I had a light breakfast then left the house to catch the bus. _______Upon arrival, I saw the fir

Chapter 18: Certainly
Jevan's POV My eyes bulged from its sockets when I heard those words left her lips. "Are you sure?" I asked her, looking in her direction. She toyed with her fingers and nodded yes. "But, why now?" I asked her again. "Are you saying that you don't want to be my first anymore?" she asked with a hint of sadness. "No. I'm just making sure that you're ready and you're not pressured in any way or form. I want your first time with me to be your choice and I want it to be special," I explained. "I know. You said it all before. I trust you and I'm ready to do it." "But why? Why not next week, or next month. Why are you ready now?" I asked her again which was beyond me. Usually, us guys would just go at it without asking anything else. She appeared to be deep in thoughts and after a minute, she answered. "I know our relationship is new but I believe that this would bring us closer than before."&nb

Chapter 19: Let's Party
Blossom's POV I loath walking into the house but I had to whether it was today or tomorrow or next year.I had to face her. It was 5:45 in the P.M when I walked through the door. Brooke was still sitting on the couch, wiping her eyes with a tissue, my mother stood next to her. Her eyes traveled to me as I entered and closed the door behind me. "Good evening, ma." "I want the truth and I want it now!" she immediately started. Although I was expecting this, I was still startled by her tone. It was something I've never gotten use to because I hated yelling. Brooke took it upon herself to leave right afterwards. If looks could have killed, she'll be dead walking out that door. "You were with that boy, weren't you!?" my mother yelled again. "And so what if I was?" I sassed. "I specifically told you to stay away from him and you deliberately disobey me! What do I have

Chapter 20: Happy Birthday Jevan
Jevan's POV After my usual football practice and I hit the shower and got back into my casual clothes, Connor met me in the hallway. "Hey man, it's your birthday on Friday. You throwing a party?" "Nah. Not this year," I answered and straightened my sleeves. "So what are you doing then?" "I'll just be chilling." "Cool. We can get together at my place. My parents aren't...." "Actually, I just wanted to chill with my girlfriend," I cut. "Your girl?" he asked with a hint of annoyance. I nodded. "Alright then. I guess that's cool too." He turned on his heel and I watched him walk away. _________________Blossom's POV I couldn't believe it has been four months since I've moved to the US and I couldn't believe it was my boyfriend's birthday on Friday. It was April and we were now on Easter break.
