Chapter 41
Martha, thought not being able to move her head even a bit, moved her eyeballs to her left where the greater werewolf stood and muttered to the best of her survival instincts that were triggered at that time, “P—l---e-a—se” and then signaled it to the claws that were on the verge of bursting blood out of Martha’s neck. Understood from her gesture, the greater werewolf now smiled widely so to express its pleasure to Martha that it was deriving out of her misery.  Martha, however, wasn’t at all concerned of what he or anyone else felt of her state and just wanted to get out of this grip. She was losing her breath. She could sense the blood halting in her veins. Her eyelids were about to adjoin which will disable her to take note of the surroundings. She couldn’t take it anymore. A last thought that originated in her mind was &ndas

Chapter 42
For a fraction of second, even werewolf got startled at how furious she had turned herself and therefore had to move its gaze away from her. She registered this astonishment of the werewolf and strike while the iron was hot by summoning in an even louder tone, “Somebody get me a glass of water” She just didn’t shift her gaze at all from the beast who wasn’t willing to let go of her neck. She could barely conceal the anger that manifested on her face. Seven to eight feet ahead of her was Cindy who witnessed every second of this and couldn’t believe her daughter intimidate one of the werewolves. The werewolf too couldn’t hold back his anger but it was afraid it would have to face the wrath of Alpha if he acted on his own with the girl.   Martha kept on looking into its eyes without even blinking. She just didn’t want anything at that time exce

Chapter 43
When someone would step on it, it would make a squeaky sound; as Martha observed when the werewolf resting on the baluster went upstairs.  She wanted to find a way out of this gloomy environment; “a broken window or maybe some emergency exit I could find. But it won’t help since this bunch of dense hairs would be at great ease when catching up with our pace. I have already seen their pace when one of these was nonchalantly blowing out the fire torches as our motor car moved. Running from them is not an option” she thought. She kept on thinking about something to confront these werewolves when finally, the Alpha spoke for the very first time, “Let us discuss our agendas now” Everyone got wide awake as soon as the words escaped through the Alpha’s mouth. Martha too, immediately looked up to see Alpha. Its voice was gruff. It carried the impression o

This startled the other werewolf a bit as it wondered how come its master was seeking permission from someone inferior to it.  Martha duly noticed the expression of the other werewolf of how it got startled and then she thought to herself, “What a moron! Doesn’t even get sarcasm” She looked at Alpha and nodded her head. The Alpha too nodded slightly in agreement and turned to Benjamin. The Alpha said, “So Mister Benjamin Stewart, there is not really anything to discuss about. Like what I clarified earlier, we will stick to that only” Martha was less focused on what it said but more focused on how it was said.  It was peremptory in his speech. It was just not in a mood to entertain any sort of discussions.   It took more than usual time to register what it said since she was busy examining his unwillingness to debate on the matter Martha apparently ha

Though for a fraction of second, she fancied the Alpha fondling her but immediately ceased that thought.   She lowered her eyes and avoided eye contact with the Alpha. But soon enough, she raised her head to look at her father and mother to see their reaction on what the Alpha had just said.  They too were as disgusted as Martha on Alpha remarks. Cindy gnashed in anger while her face turned red, though she didn’t have the courage or the strength to raise a voice against Alpha. On the other hand, Benjamin bore an expression of sheer rage against the one standing right in front of him. His body was trembling with anger and his eyes conveyed only one thought – to fight and eventually die for the safety of his daughter. Yet he remained at the same spot he was at and spoke with much anger in his voice, “Neither we are fulfilling our obligations

Chapter 46
Both Cindy’s and Martha’s calls were now too late to be comprehended and acted upon by Benjamin. He has gotten quite close to the demonic figure.    Cindy, now instead of Benjamin, prayed to God as it was now upon the almighty to ensure the safety of Benjamin.   “God, it is all upon you now!” she cried. Benjamin had now come within the range of the werewolf while his hand in the air extended to grab the neck of the beast.   The werewolf smirked for it knew how foolish of a person Benjamin was to charge a being hundred times stronger than him. It noticed Benjamin’s hand approaching for its neck and pitied for what it was about to do to him in the next few moments.  It first raised his left hand to defend the frail attack on Benjamin’s part.  It simply grabbed hi

Chapter 47
They didn’t want to believe in the reality.Alpha too wanted to be a part in this act of causing misery to the family and spoke to the werewolf whose claws were stained with the blood of Benjamin, “Let go of the poor guy’s hand, Ash” – It addressed the other werewolf as Ash – “He is dead now and therefore, he can do nothing to help but spoil the floor through the blood dripping out of his body.  Throw the body out in the woods” Alpha reminded both the ladies to come back to reality and accept it. They must know that their husband or father is no more now. They must, especially for Martha, take it as a lesson of what the werewolves are capable of doing; that they must fear the werewolves and make sure not to argue with them. Both Cindy and Martha had gotten numb.  It was a tsunami for both of them where the tides were going against them and sinking t

Chapter 48
She joined her hands and pleaded before the biggest of the demons, “For god’s sake, let us go!” she didn’t cry and not even had pleading sound in her voice.  This was because she had got exhausted by now; physically, mentally and emotionally. “Sorry not sorry but you two are not going anywhere. Most importantly, this young wench” – its indication was towards Martha – “In fact, we cannot now afford to let you go alone in front of the general public as we fear you might spill the beans about our whereabouts and bring some  special forces for the rescue of your daughter” Cindy did not react.   She had lost the ability to perceive anything that was told to her and just wanted a way out of this hell that existed on Earth. Alpha continued, “Therefore, I have arrived at a conclusion which is that you shall be executed before your daughter so that i

Chapter 49
She gasped in fear as her worst of sufferings began to unveil themselves in front of her. Ronan too held Martha’s mother in the air for a while to prove to the young wench of how ruthless and gruesome the werewolves could be to someone.  Ronan was further encouraged when Alpha, even after resigning from killing Martha’s mother, did not object when Ronan was putting her under intense distress.   Ronan first looked Martha into her eyes and then shifted his gaze towards Cindy who bore a nonchalant face. Neither did she seem to be under distress of soon going to die nor was she horrified as her daughter was for presuming that she will be seeing her mother for the last time now and never again. This irritated Ronan who, in order to take the pain out on her face, tightened the grip around Cindy’s neck but without any result. Cindy appeared lifeless.&nb
