"I will miss you." Red sniffed hugging Queen one last time, "I will miss you very much.""Me too." Queen sobbed loudly, "You come back again?""Yes, yes." Red nodded, "I will." She promised.Alberto and Daniel just stood aside with uneasy looks on their faces as they watched the crying ladies bid farewell to each other. Both women disentangled from their tight embrace and faced the men. Their faces were red and puffy from the constant whimpering and they looked morose."You sure you didn't forget anything?" Daniel walked up to his girlfriend and held her, "Could be long before we come back here again.""Do you have to remind me?" She scowled at him getting annoyed at his last statement."Okay, okay." He raised his hands up in defense, "I am sorry." He drew her closer and placed a kiss on

Now, dreams had never meant anything to Red, she never even thought of them after rising from bed. But this particular dream got her heart racing on a Monday morning. She sweated as she got out of bed with a disturbed mind and a pounding headache. She moved into the bathroom, stood in front of the mirror and stared at it."It's only just a bad dream." She whispered to herself as flashes of the nightmare invaded her mind, "It's not going to happen, it will not happen."Daniel had long gotten out of bed and got to work very early leaving a note by the bedside telling Red he had to run off and get a head's start at the office. She so wondered what he was going to do and at the same time she wondered if he remembered what today was.Today was very special to her and as she peered into the mirror, she silently prayed nothing would go wrong. She closed her eyes, counted one to t

"Well! Well! Well!" Capri said in a sing song voice as he walked into the office leisurely with his hands tucked in his pants pockets, "What a sight!" He eyed Red and Daniel as they struggled to put on their clothes,"Am I interrupting something?""Capri!" Red whispered low enough for her ears only, her heart growing cold, what is he doing here? Why is he here?"Who the fuck let you in?!" Daniel growled harshly at the unwanted and unexpected guest. He was done buckling his trousers now, "Why the fuck are you here Capri?" He moved and pushed Red behind him in a bid to protect her. They know each other? Red was stunned, is this what the press meant by being involved with the lorenzos?"Nice to see you again Red." He winked at her before taking a seat on the sofa paces before Daniel's desk, "I must say you have managed to keep yourself, your waistline is still

Confusion, hurt and anger clouded the air as soon as Capri left. The gorgeous birthday cake was forgotten. Red watched as Daniel went to his table, opened his laptop, logged in and begin to check his files. His facial expression, she couldn't read but she could tell that everything was wrong, everything had gone wrong."Daniel." She croaked as she was near tears, "Let me explain please.""Where is my phone?" He searched around frantically ignoring her, "I need to reach Rose." He was totally confused forgetting that he could call for Rose outside his office. He picked up his phone, unlocked it and looked up Rose's contact, "It's blocked!" He said, "How is it blocked?""I did it." Red admitted knowing there was no point in lying, "Daniel, will you please let me explain." He looked at her gripping hi

"You have got to wake up your majesty." Red felt a light touch and heard a soft voice. She knew instantly that it was her hand maid. Her eyes fluttered open and her gaze met the ceilings above making her to regret instantly as the designs were familiar to the ones at Daniel's mansion in Greece. It brought back memories that she had tried to forget over the past few weeks but failed to as every night she spent confined in her room, she was left to her memories and things that reminded her of him."The Queen specially requested you have breakfast with them today." Her maid Claudia said as she saw Red was awake, "She isn't taking no for an answer this time your majesty.""Claudia." Red sat up with a sigh, "Can you skip the formalities and just called me Red?" She pleaded of her maid again as this was not the first time."Sorry your Majesty." Claudia nodded, "You are the crown princess, heir to the throne and

Avianna stood up immediately and so did Ra. They both held hands nervously as they watched their daughter walk towards them, her face carried a brooding image and the anxiety grew more in them as she approached with Claudia following her obediently. They didn't know what she was thinking. She looked up at her husband and he squeezed her hand reassuringly, "It's okay dear." He smiled at her, "Remember we have to take it slow with her.""You think she will still be as angry as she has been all these years?" She couldn't hide her fears."Be calm love, don't worry yourself too much." He placed a kissed on her forehead and drew her closer. Red's heart clenched painfully as she saw the open display of affection between them. That's exactly how he used to hold me, she fought back the tears welling in her eyes,

Mrs Hart hugged Daniel really close comforting him as he cried as though he was a kindergarten student. She rubbed his back trying to calm him down as he sobbed, "Let it out Dear." She said, "Let it all out."Dane just stood aside with folded arms watching them, "Would you quit crying like a baby?" He rolled his eyes, "We came here to talk not for you to sob.""Watch it Dane!" She frowned at him, "Have you guys made any plan yet?""Nope." He shook his heard, "Our lovely leader is here crying like a goat!""Have you ever fucking seen a goat cry?" Daniel raised his head from his mother's lap, "What the hell are you saying?""Oh that got you to stand up!" Dane shook his head."Stop it boys." Mrs Hart warned them, "Like I said, what's the plan?""We don't have one yet, mother." Daniel scratched his air, "The only thing I can think of

Red stood in the garden of lilies, in a yellow sundress. She admired the flowers wishing she was one of them as they looked so at peace. No heartbreaks, no parents abandoning you just getting watered and enjoying the cool breeze. She envied the flowers. She looked up and saw some of the palace workers on the other side of the lawn tending to horses. They were far away but she could still see them as her eye sight wasn't bad.She gazed upon a foal with silvery colour and her eyes followed it as it ran up to a mare and a stallion but of the same colour. The mare reached down and it's offspring nuzzled it's neck in hers and also the stallion did the same. She smiled, they looked so happy even the horses looked happier than her. Something inside her ticked and she began crying again. The mare and the stallion have each other and the foal has them both, She sniffed,

Daniel dragged himself out of the shower with his towel tied loosely around his waist. He looked like he carried the burdens of the world on his shoulders as he walked to his bed like an animal being led to the slaughter. He got to his bed and plonked down on it with a groan. He picked up his phone to check for messages or calls from Dane but only saw that of Capri's. Capri had been bothering him for days now to know when they were meeting again. He hadn't relented even when Daniel ignored him most of the time and just as he was about the drop the phone, he called again. With a swipe, he picked the call and lifted the phone to his ear."Hello..." He intended his voice to come out as a threatening growl but it only came out weak and one could tell he was tired and nearing his end."Is that the best you can do?" Capri chuckled at his vo

Sleep was a stranger to Red that night. She wasn't composed, she couldn't have dinner earlier and she couldn't sleep. She sat up all night wondering what would have happened if she had heard Daniel out, he never trusted you! The words stabbed her and she concluded she did the right thing not being nice to him. When she couldn't take her thinking anymore, she picked up her phone and called Dane while still sobbing and shaking."Hello..." Dane picked up the call, all he wanted was some sleep but it seems he was getting none of it tonight."Dane, he called." Red sniffed, "And I heard his voice and God I love him so much. He said he was sorry and that he had a lot of things to say but I can't...""Take a deep breath." Dane said trying to calm her down, "Calm down Babe.""How did he get my new line?" She asked him."He forced it out of me." Dane
