Chapter 10
Chapter 10 I was in my room, except it wasn't my room... It looked different, somehow... I got up and went to my closet to find something to wear. As I opened the closet door and peered inside I noticed that everything in my wardrobe was not mine... It seemed that none of these items of clothing were anything I would have actually bought for myself. After looking through all the items available, I picked out a black and silver shimmery dress. It was short and had only one shoulder. It was tight fitting and accentuated all of my curves. I picked it because it seemed like the most modest thing in there. A pair of black and silver, sparkly, six-inch heels followed. They looked like they were made for this dress. I didn’t normally wear heels, but these were just calling out to me. My long silver hair flowed down my back in beachy waves, which I thought was strange... My hair was always pin straight. I’ve never worn it wavy before. It looked nice though, maybe a change was needed. I loo

Chapter 11 (Demon) "Anthony, what do you have to report?" I asked curiously.  Anthony was my second in command. He was tall and muscular like any Reaver. He sported dark hair, dark bronze eyes, and a straight expression almost always. He had a crescent moon tattooed on the right side of his face with vines going down his neck. He handled all my dirty work, the cleanup, the reports. He did literally anything and everything I asked with complete obedience. Absolutely no questions asked. You could say he would be considered a friend, my closest friend, even. Reavers did not run or live in packs like the Wolves did. We were more solitary keeping to our small Covens of 13 or less and just branching off from there. I, however, ran 23 Covens. Much of those Covens are intertwined together, living in the same areas. We inhabited more area than I think anyone realized. With our sheer numbers and our multitude of powers, we really had no enemies worthwhile. I have a title, High Priest. We don

Chapter 12 I materialized directly in front of Rayne. We locked eyes and I could see her confusion. She had no idea where she was or what she was doing. I knew where we were though. We were in a dream... We were in her dream. She was hanging onto the arm of Alpha Drake. My Wolf howled at the sight of her touching him. I, however, was much too distracted by how she looked to even really care. The sight of her completely took my breath away. Not that she didn’t always take my breath away, but I had never seen her done up like this before. I had no idea how someone so beautiful could become even more enticing. She was wearing a silver and black shimmery dress with one shoulder. It hugged her in all the right places, accentuating her curves perfectly. She matched with a pair of silver and black heels, putting her even with Alpha Drake in height. Her long silver hair was in beachy waves flowing down her back. I couldn't help but notice how the colors of that gorgeous dress made her eyes

Chapter 13
Chapter 13 (Rayne) We train four times a week Monday through Thursday, every morning for 4 hours. It was rigorous training. Alpha Drake shows no mercy, and we were expected to do the same. The only reason I knew how to fight and protect myself the way I did, was because of him, and the training he makes us complete. He pairs us off with different members of the pack to gauge and strengthen our skills. We normally never fought the same person twice within the week. We had enough pack members to be able to accommodate that. So basically, we just kicked a new person's ass every day. As much as I loathed Alpha Drake, he definitely knew what he was doing. Today, I was paired off with Roman. Strange that I had never once fought him before, or even seen him, now that I think about it. It made me wonder if he was new to our pack? Or have I just not noticed him until now? To be honest, I never noticed anyone. I kept to myself in fear that my Demon would do something... His track record was

Chapter 14 Training earlier had kicked my ass. It was rigorous on any regular day, but I only noticed now how it was affecting me. I don't know if I was just overworked fighting Alpha Drake’s croony or what. I definitely needed a nap before patrol tonight or there was no way I was going to stay awake. I still had a few hours before I had to report to the east quarter so I jumped into bed and pulled the covers up over my head. It felt like as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out. I found myself standing in front of what looked like a medieval castle. That would be the only way to explain what I was seeing. It was massive, sitting on acres and acres of land. The whole thing looked like something out of a horror movie, yet it was intriguing to say the least. The mansion was solid black with gold accents. There were peaks and pillars all over, with golden gargoyle statues positioned everywhere I looked. The windows that were visible were bigger than any I've ever seen in any home...

Chapter 15
Chapter 15 (Demon) Anthony brought me a whole stack of books, everything that he could find, every piece of literature known to the Underworld about dreamwalking. I had spent hours pouring over every book, committing everything I read to memory. I didn't want to miss a single thing. There had to be a way I could help Rayne. I was already so exhausted after the day I had endured. That, and all of this reading on top of it, had me fighting to stay awake. I swear I only closed my eyes one time and the next thing I know I'm dreamwalking. This was nothing new to a Reaver though, no big deal. I'm dreamwalking my own dream. Perfect, I could use this time to study more while my body rested. I was in my room where I had originally fallen asleep, when I heard a noise. How could there be something unexpected here? I control my own dreams... I wanted to let it play out, so I hid just behind the drapes as Rayne walked into my room. I was so surprised to see her, my heart skipped a beat, or may

Chapter 16
Chapter 16 (Rayne) I woke up suddenly before my alarm. I sat up and was way confused about my recent dream. It felt so real. I touched my lips as the feeling of his kiss was lingering. Wynter had dreamt with me as well, while she wasn't there in my dream for some reason, she remembers it all. She was howling about Mr. K... Raziel. Was that really his name? It was a beautiful name, it rolled off my lips so effortlessly. Something had me hoping it was his name. I fought the urge to mind link him and ask. I mean, he told me if I needed him, he would be there... but asking his name is hardly a need. I sighed, and decided I wouldn't bother him, just in case. In any normal situation the thought of him would have sent a spike of fear shooting straight through my chest. But for some reason I found myself almost missing him suddenly... I blamed the dream for my sudden change of heart. Wynter’s approval was prevalent in her howls. “Maybe we should get to know him?“ Wynter stated with a pout

Chapter 17
Chapter 17 I took one last look at myself in the mirror, satisfied with my appearance. I had found the most perfect dress for tonight. It was solid gold and shimmered in the light with a set of black accent chains hanging off the single shoulder. I decided even though it was scarily close to the dress from my dream, it was not the same color so it would suffice. Plus, I really liked that whole one shoulder thing. It was shorter than I intended, but it fit well, accentuating my curves. I paired it with some gold 6 inch heels. They had black and gold straps that went up over my ankle. My hair fell to my waist in beachy waves. I decided it was time for a new style. Plus I really liked my hair and those shoes in that dream, so why not? Gold eyeshadow adorned my eyelids, with black in the creases, and black mascara to match. On my lips was a glitter gold gloss. Not too overpowering, just enough to show a hint of glitter in the right lighting. I felt bangin’ hot and ready to go. Wynter l

Chapter 18
Chapter 18 (Alpha Drake) I headed into the club knowing that more than half of my pack would be there or following shortly. The Edge was a place where the creatures of the underworld frequented, along with Humans. It made an interesting collaboration, for lack of a better word. I forbid my pack from going here without myself present, as we have had issues with the other species before. When I'm here, no one dares step to me or my pack. Perks of being who I am. With everyone knowing my history, it makes it easy to be left alone. They know that I would do anything for those loyal in my pack, but those who disobey don't end up so lucky. It's easier for me to kill them than punish them, and wonder if they will do it again or not. I had complete control over everyone. Everyone... except Rayne. She was my problem child. Escaping death previously for disobeying because of that damn Reaver. And since then, she's been far from obedient. I could feel her slipping from my control and I hated

Chapter 19
Chapter 19 (Rayne) My blood was boiling, how could Alpha Drake expect me to want anything to do with him after how he's always acted towards me? His hand against my throat, my back against the wall, such a familiar position we always found ourselves in. He was unpredictable, and I guess this is what made him so terrifying. He couldn't keep his temper under control either, in turn causing his Wolf to lose it. And he couldn’t control his Wolf either. To say he was hot headed was an understatement. His temper just didn't mesh well with my newfound cockiness towards him, thanks to Raziel. "You will not talk back to me again." The venom in his voice was oozing as he enunciated every word. I was fucking raging at this point, and I just lost it. I wasn't even sure what I was doing but it was like my hand knew exactly what to do. "I will do whatever I choose." I spat, and as if instinct took over, I slammed my hand into the middle of his chest. Alpha Drake then went flying into the adjace
