Adeline ~   The loud blazing tune of my alarm clock jolted me awake, I fell from the bed from the terrible shock, groaning as my body hit the cold tiles of the bedroom.   “Ouch.” I yelped, getting off the floor and rubbing my right elbow, I angrily shut the alarm clock off, sitting on my bed, still rubbing my elbow.   I leaned down a bit, picking my phone off the table, and checked the time, it was already pst 7-40.   “How the fuck did I sleep so long?” I grunted, standing up from the bed and stripping off my pajamas so I could sleep.   My phone started to ring, I checked the caller if and saw that it was Alexander calling me

Adeline~ My mind was running through different things that I had no idea what to do. Why would anyone purposely want to aSabotage this whole deal for the company?  “You suspect Uriel, right?” he asked me, bringing me out of my thoughts, I looked at him and nodded. “Yeah, she has been saying some sort of things to me, and also her attitude towards me is making me think she could be there,” I say. But what if she isn’t the one?  Alex nodded, walking out of the office, I stood there wondering

Adeline~   I pulled the lock and it came off immediately, I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at the loosened safe in my hands, I looked into the safe but the document I places in there yesterday was gone.   I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at it again, whoever was in my office was successful in breaking the safe open.   The office door opened and I looked up to see who it was, Dani walked in with a smile on her face.   “Oh, what are you doing there, Adeline?” she asked, stretching her neck forward to see what I was doing.   I quickly stood up, adjusting my pants “Oh, my pen fell and I was looking for it.” I say I am not exactly su

Adeline~ I hasten my steps as I walked through the busy streets of NY, my bag in my right hands and a Starbucks coffee on my left, I felt my phone vibrate in my bag and groaned. I would have to pick that later, I quickly crossed the road, looking at the huge company In front of me, a sigh escaped my lips. I walked into the company, I was already so damn late because of the drink Denola flushed down my throat, I paused on my way on seeing a familiar face sitting in the reception. Uriel? I furrowed my eyebrows as soon as my eyes met hers, a cocky smirk appeared on her face, she stood up, walking towards me.

Adeline~   The clock dinged loudly, I snapped my head towards it as it alerted me that it was now 4 pm, I sighed on remembering the engagement I had for five pm.   I leaned back on my chair, looking at the documents Daniella had given to give Alex so he could sign it, it was now closing hour and I still haven’t spoken to Alex, he sent series of messages and even called but I simply ignored it, not because I was angry but because he was right. We were not in some hide-and-seek relationship and he did not deserve whatever I was trying to do.   I stood up from the chair, picking the papers off the table, and straightened my clothes, I walked out of his office and towards his, a breathy shaky sigh escaped my lips as I knocked gently on the door.
