             Ivy laid in Drake’s arms, he felt comforting to her, something about him was different. He didn’t feel dark like he did before. She wasn’t sure if it was because of the dark magic finally working or because she was accepting what she was becoming. The whispering was still around, she wasn’t sure if Drake could hear it, but he continued to stroke her arms, he was whispering something but she couldn’t focus on it. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep, but the whispering started to get louder again.            Jerking her eyes opened, she tried covering her eyes, but Drake grabbed her arms. “What’s wrong?”            Ivy’s head started to spin, she didn’t want this to continue, she thought about running into a wall and knocking herself out to make them stop screaming.              “Ivy, you’re telling me you don’t want kids?” Drake asked.            “Not right now I don’t,” Ivy said shaking her head. “I do when I am out of school and have a house and husband and all of that.” She said looking at him. “Are you telling me this whole thing is to get me pregnant and all of that?”            “Yes.” He said looking at her. “I mean it could happen, but most times it takes a while.”            “So, what happens during this ritual?” she said folding her arms across her chest. “Don’t tell me, because it’s not happening, you already told me you weren’t going to force me to do anything so.” She said walking away from him, this time he stood there and watched her try and find her way back to her room.    

             Ivy wanted to see Nick again, the look in his eyes made her hurt inside. He wanted to touch her, she wanted to touch him, but she felt his energy. She could tell he wasn’t good for her anymore. She wondered why he mentioned a baby was she pregnant or was she supposed to have a baby with everything that was going on?            “Am I pregnant Drake?” she said looking at him.            “Not yet.” Drake half-smiled. “But before you leave my side you will have had a child, it’s how this works.”            “I told you I don’t want children, at least not yet.” She said pacing in front of him. “I don’t want kids; you cannot force me to have children.”            “But we Dwellers will ha

             Ivy followed Drake out to his SUV, she wanted to walk, she had more thinking to do, but that had to wait until she was home alone. She looked out the window, she was glad Draven didn’t say anything the entire ride to her house.            “Thanks for the ride.” She said getting out of the car.            “Wait.” He said getting out of the car. “I have to make sure he isn’t here.”            Ivy rolled her eyes. “He isn’t.”            “Drakes orders, we don’t need to lose you.” He said opening the door before she could say no. “Wait here while I check the place out.”            Ivy didn’t do what he said, she walked into the

             “Who is he?” Ivy whispered.            “One of the Council members on our side, so they might already know.”            “Yes, they do know.” He said glancing back. “They also know what you are planning or planned to do.” He said as they continued to walk.            “Where are we going?” Drake asked.            “To meet the Council.” He said stopping at a black limo. “We’ve known about you since you were born Ivy. Your parents thought it was fine for you to be protected and kept in the dark, and they also thought keeping us in the dark about you was safe. That was mainly the reason they were killed, had they come to us we would have been more prepared to protect you.” &nbs
