Lahat ng Kabanata ng The King And I: Kabanata 61 - Kabanata 70

.......Dawn's pov.......He got up and dressed the royal robe he was putting on. I stared after him as he headed for the door. What is going on?? I picked up the nightie and wore it slowly before removing the duvet.  I climbed down from the bed and walked fraily to the bathroom. I locked the door behind me. I hope I don't use King Lee's feet soap again. I opened the drawer and saw a white leather. It reminded me of a sanitary pad. Hold on...whats today's date? OMG! I should have seen my period few days ago.Is...is something wrong with me? Why's it taking so long??             .......King Lee's pov......The guards opened the door and I ambled towards the other end of the hall. I paused and titled my head. "G

King Lee👑"I don't understand" I said completely puzzled. "Does...this mean you didn't know about your mother's origin?" She asked and I nodded perfunctorily. "Your mother was your father's childhood friend. She was the daughter of a common maid at the castle but your father became friends with her and they gradually fell in love. Your father wanted to marry her but so many forces were against them. He took a bold step decided to take an oath before the royal court that your mother will never break the rules of queenship and so...it was done. They got married and had you" She besumed. I was still yet to believe the things she just said.  This is balderdash...! Mom's behavior is so perfect that other queens envied her fluency and movements. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.I don't even care. My phone vibrated and I brought

(Later that night)**          Bethel's pov🥀[Dawn's mother] I entered the room slowly with two maids behind me. I couldn't stop staring around the place like a village girl. The whole place was radiant and fabricated with a lot of porcelain materials. "This is the room the King has assigned to you, ma'am Bethel" one of the maids said and I shook my head in disbelief. I don't remember asking God for anything like this. I just wanted him to make Dawn experience a better life than I did. He's such a promise keeper! I sat on the bed feeling relieved from the long walk from downstairs.Who knew stairs could be so long and broad?? "Where's my daughter?" I asked as I watched them put down my things next to the closet. "She will meet you tomo

....Alicia's pov.....I stood at the balcony watching the commotion outside the gates. The soldiers were starting to use violence on the protesters and I guess its under the King's orders too.I cringed feeling so devastated. Can I ever be happy again???My heart ached as I reminisced over what has happened over the past weeks. All the punishments and tortures I've received from the King just because of one stupid girl who is even a witch!I wish I gave birth to a boy when I had the chance. I'm tired of the shame I face whenever I look into my daughter's face.I want a better life for Xenia. How do I make that happen?I heard footsteps creeping close behind me and I decided to take a glance.Tristan.He walked faster and got to where I was."How are you doing, my queen?" He asked smiling."I'm just curious about how the whole kingdom now knows that the princess is a healing witch"."It

King Lee👑I could barely sit up from my bed after I laid on it.  The stress I went through during the week was damn much that I feel like never getting up again. I'm still young.I don't want to have weak bones when I'm still in my early 20's. I plonked myself into the thick bedsheet and the image that filled my mind was Dawn's beautiful face. She was a huge distraction to me during the travels. I can't wait to see her.I admit I'm kinda bored too. A knock came on the door and I responded coyly to it. Raphael walked in and he bows instantly. "Where's Dawn?" I asked feeling my heart beat increase. "She refused to come see you, your highness" He replied and I cringed. What?!!!!            Alicia🔱
