ZOE’S POV  "Zoe, it’s our first meet and there are lots of things to be known about each other as friends. so don’t let these people affect you or us" his words kept ringing in my head like a mantra….  Hope…...hope was something I always believed in the case of my fate but it was something I never kept in any relationships, at the top, friendships. But now, I felt that the whole world around me was rejuvenating. Was I again beginning to believe in new relations??? Were things changing with his arrival??

ZACK’S POV  “Coach, I have to leave for now" I told David in a hurry and took off to meet Mike and Zoe.   I had to get to know the whole story of them if I had to get back my lost peace. Why didn’t they tell me anything?? Why on earth had Caroline kept such a big secret from me?? I couldn’t believe that she never showed me any kind of trust that she couldn’t share it with me. I had always given her the space and comfort in our relationship and she never even thought it to be necessary to tell me the big fact that she was once an athlete too?? Why??

ZACK’S POV  Caroline was shocked from my reaction and she noticed me smiling at Zoe and Mike who were standing behind her.  “What was that Zack " she looked at me confused and the displeasure she felt on having Mike and Zoe’s presence with us was pretty evident in her face.  “Oh, are you offended??” I folded my hands in front of her and looked straight into her eyes with coldness.

ZOE’S POV  The next day, I was a bit hesitant to go to the high school has I had no idea what was going to happen. My peaceful life was definitely going go get chaotic with Caroline’s arrival back to the town after these long 2 years. With that I really wondered whether the peace I had been drowned in was just the peace felt before the storm of after the storm???  Whatever it was the one thing that I really felt bad for was the fact that Zack was her boyfriend. She couldn’t be blamed for that choice as it was a perfect one but the whole blame of losing such a golden egg was completely

ZACK’S POV  “God Dammit!!” I screamed as I hung up the call.  “Whoa, dude chill" Mike handled me and I smashed my phone on the floor with all my angst.  “She never told them we broke up" I told them the reason of my anguish in a briskly tone and they were blown by it.
