The Breakdown (2)
Tina did not know how long she laid there on the bed but when she finally shook herself up, it was after 8pm. She intuitively threw her legs from the bed while she lazily sprung to her full length; her eyes still bugged from crying.Without hesitation, she shuffled off to the washroom– resurfacing after few minutes in her nightwear looking refreshed but still troubled inside judging from her creased brows tinted on her face which deeply told out her worry and foreboding. With all appetite lost and no interest in seeing anyone one at all, she traced her steps to her study table; slightly dragging the chair back while it made a scrapping noise on the hard floor– making enough room for her to settle behind her laptop.Instinctively, she brushed her hand through her hair; sweeping the strands which found their way to her face while she clicked on the space key– lightening up the screen. Just when she was about to make a further click, she heard a hard sound

The Hate
It was almost past 7:30 am when Tina glided down the last stair– all dressed up in her uniform. Intuitively, she darted off to the dinning hall; her bag hanging loosely over her shoulder with an unclear expression pasted on her face.  Given the time, she knew well Lucas would have been long gone; for some reason, she suddenly felt bad for leaving him to eat by himself alone last night. The former was still beating herself up inwardly as she shuffled into the hall when a hoarse voice hit her on entering. “Is that how late you leave for school everyday?” Her father spat out the words; placing the document he was scanning through on the table– directly beside the beverage he was sipping on while his gaze rested on the puzzled young lady lagging towards them. Involuntarily, Tina’s gaze travelled to Lucas as she settled beside him as if to ask what was going on.  It was so unusual of their parents to sit together as a family around a table like this or rather

She was really miffed at herself and whatever was going in her life.“They were the main reason she was like this but they don’t seem to get it;” Her inner voice echoed. Just thinking about it alone made her stomach churned with hatred. After what seemed like an endless walk, she finally got to the bus stop. She settled on one of the seats under the waiting shade– staring down at her feet. Not long, the first bus pulled by but she was least interested in getting on board. She remained glued in her seat, drowning in her grief– the sense of numbness infused her body

It had already been 20mins since Tina took her seat beside her friends but had barely said anything. Her mind seemed to be afar though there was so much rumpus in the hall. You’ve been spacing out since you took your seat.” She asked with creased brows– her concern evident on her face,. Meanwhile, Bella gazed skeptically at Tina as she filled her mouth with a bite of sandwich not sure what was on the former’s mind either.Staring into the latter eyes, the only thing that came to Tina’s mind was Phidel’s words. Lifting her gaze up as she swept away the strand of hair that had escaped from its hold, Tina’s brows intuitively furrowed– meeting eyes on with that familiar gaze. “You?” She muttered, instantly springing to her feet as she snatched the book from him in the process– her displeasure written all over her face. As if on an impulse, she scoffed– rolling her eyes in motion as she tilted her head away then back to the intruder whom she seem really pissed with. “Are you stalking me or something?” She inquired but then as if in realization, she paused for a moment~ narrowing her gaze towards the latter as if she could read through him. “Don’t tell me my Dad paid you for this.”“Hey, hey, wait a moment.” Ethen briefly chuckled, not sure what she meant by that. “What did you mean by paid for this?” He snapped in, his words fading with the smiles in the process. “Let’s first get this right– you bumped into me, not the other way round. Isn’t this the point where you thank me rather?” He added w
